National treasure 2

its been more than a year since we went to catch a movie. so this is officially our first movie ! WS been telling me that he wants to catch this show. and since he is on 1/2 day today, we went after he came and fetched me from work.

the show is pretty nice, enjoyable. we went to Yishun Cinemaplex. the show was like 2 hours long.

after tat we went to pick up keira and head home !

a visit to Douglas Ong

today Mummi brought me to see the nice doctor who saw me first when I was born on April 27 this year.. Mummi finally got time to load the pix of me. I was drooling so much at that time... now i have 2 nice teeth. which i absolutely love it when mummi brush them for me.
after that, Mummi brought me Xmas shopping, we din get anything but instead I tried on the giraffe. mummi caught a daddi taking pix of his baby trying out too, so ask daddi to sneak a pix too.

Merry Christmas

its my very first Xmas this year and i got heaps of pressie.
mummi helped me open the pressie while daddi took pixs.
i got books, clothes, toys and tons of toys, i got my very 1st elmo and walker/ride-on. i am turning 8 mths in a few days. time passess by so fast when all i do is eat, sleep, play, eat, play and sleep everyday! kekekeke

this is my first Xmas Eve and all i want is my 2 front teeth...
so here is a pix of me which is long overdue. my 2nd tooth is erupting but still not fully out yet. Mummi said that when i bite her, its pretty painful. kekekekeke !

today is a holiday and we spent the whole day lazing around

today is a holiday so Mummi and Daddi dun need to go to work today. as the weather was cool and it was also raining in the morning. I only got up ard 8 and had my milk soon after that. we were all too lazy to do anyhting so we laze around the house the whole morning. WE ARE SO BORED TODAY ~

Hahahaha.. so after my bath, I have lunch and went for a nap after tat. Mummi decided that we should go out and Daddi wants to go to Vivio but Mummi felt it was way to far to go for a short trip. why coz we finally left the house at 4.35pm.
Daddi decided to head for Taka since Mummi has some taka vouchers, but when we reached Cainhill exit. traffic was bad. so in the end we went to centrepoint.

din get anything, but most interesting abt today's trip is mummi got me broccoli and peas to try while Daddi got me yogurt. hmmmm.. daddi said the yogurt is expensive ! its horizon organic yogurt, 4 for $10.65

new phone

mummi got a new phone and its Daddi's bday present for Mummi.wahahaha... long overdue lah Daddi. anyway, mummi is still testing out her new phone. 1 of the reason not much pix taken is bcoz mummi still dunno how to use her phone.

another trim again

mummi gave me another trim coz when we went to greatgrandma's birthdayy party, evetyone complained that my fringe was way too long, so Grandma asked daddi to get my hair cut. so on tuesday after work, mummi trimmed my fringe and sides for me. Yes, even at the back was cut too, but not too short.

today we went to have our very 1st studio pix taken. but i was cranky ! so not much pix were taken.. its an hour session and the photograher can take as many as i can possibly managed. since ours was taken today, we are entitled to 2 8R pix.

Early Xmas party with April mummies

Its my very 1st Xmas party with all my gang at Claire's place, The Eden.
We were all excited about the party, so i ask Daddi to quickly drive us over.

we finally reached there juz before noon. its been several months since our last mass meet. a lot of frends have grown so much, most have teeth and able to crawl and one ot two can even stand.

there were so many food and goodies bags for everyone of us. there was a log cake too. Mummy even collected a tin of milk from the nice people from Dumex for me. we also have a gift exchange. Thanks to Tiffany's mummy! i have not open the present yet, mummi said i need to wait! but in regardless, I will still like it.

USPS waiting in the mailbox

hello Sue Ee,

i had a nice surprise today when daddi brought me downstairs for a short walk in the BBjorn this evening. After our walk before we came back home, Daddi went to our mailbox to check on our mails. As today is Sunday, to my surprise, in the mailbox, daddi handed me an envelope, Daddi saw who is the sender and said to me "Keira, you got pressie from Sue Ee"



Once we got home, i passed to Mummi to open! Actually, Daddi already started opening but i hold on to it tightly, as i want Mummi to open it..

i love all of them, I have asked Mummi to wash the T tomorrow and as the checkered hat is way to big for me, Mummi sais will keep for next time. but the white flowers, see when I can wear it. hairband - i will show you next time.

cupcakes decorating class - wilton method

went for my very first basic cupcakes decorating class this afternoon. it was fun. our instrutor gave us some notes to bring home. how to make buttercream icing for the decoration and of course how to bake cupcakes!

Basic Techniques

there are 3 different consistency.
1. stiff consistency - is used for figure piping and decorations like roses, carnations & sweet peas
2. medium consistency - is used for stars, shell border
3. thin consistency - is used for writing, vines and leaves

correct bag position
1. angle - position of the bag, 90 degres(straight up, perpendicular to the surface)
2. pressure control - heavy, medium, light

last Wed, petrol price went up again, its now $2.06/litre.
so on Friday, we top up full tank of 52litres after disc $105.

we were in sengkang today for a 1 month celebration and I get to enjoy the slide after the party on the way to the car. after that, Daddi said he wants to go and check out some flats, we were at the Quartz and also Silver Spurz. Funny thing was Daddi wasnt even sure where it is. we went round and round, I overheard Mummi telling Daddi, petrol must be cheap nowadays!

oh ya! Daddi managed to change the level in my new bed. But its at Level 3 now. Mummi said she is suffering from backache as Level 3 is too low for her.
btw, i have been very notti lately, i will cry very loudly and I can cry for a long time too everytime before my bedtime. i will need mummi to carry me until i fall asleep too! mummi been complaining to daddi as her wrists are painful again.

this afternoon my cot bed arrived.
it was delivered at 4pm. so mummi asked the delivery guys to bring in to their room.
it requires a lot of manuevering as the cot aint small. so mummi quickly gave it a wipe, carried my mattress over from Grandma's room. fitted it with the bedsheet and took out the Pooh diaper bag that Sue Ee send over from Seattle. The Pooh bedsheet is a little small for my mattress so Mummi din used that one.
daddi will be moving the cot down 1 level as he think its way too high.
luckliy i still cant stand or oull myself up yet. now with the cot maybe i will get the chance to build up my arms muscle... wahahahaha

boo boo

this morning i fell from the sofa while Mummi was preparing milk for me.
i am ok but think still shock from the fall. Its my very first fall.
Guess its part of growing up! Mummi is very dissappointed with herself coz of her careless, i rolled down.

mummi monitored my being thru out the day. but think i must have forgotten all about it coz the whole morning & afternoon I was still laughing away and playing. I only cried for a short while after my fall.

In anycase, mummi still brought me to the paed, Dr Dorothy Ong @ Bukit Timah Plaza. the Doctor examine me and told Mummi beside the small bruise on my forehead, I seem ok, no fever. Doctor asked Mummi to make sure i dun vomit and not too drowsy. Must monitor for the next 48hours.

mission accomplished

after work today, mummi and daddi went down to Mothercare @ Centrepoint to view the 1 and only Ashton displayed found in all mothercare outlets. they have decided on the Ashton series. after all the calculation on the price, the dimension of the existing babysafe matteress so that it can fit into the cot. they finally agreed on it.

while Daddi was checking out the bed, he found out that its the only piece available. yes, I am referring to the Display unit. Daddi looked at Mummi in horror !!!! he really disliked to buy anything that is the display set/the only pice left. but anyway, he asked for a discount since it is a display unit. so it is like $360 less 20%. later on examining the set closely, he found some deep scratches on the bars. He asked for further disc of 30%, but the saleslady only offered 20% + 5% for the whole bed, so they took up on her offer.

so mummi bought it! delivery schedule on this Thursday. yipeeeeee ............ here are some pix of the Ashton.

cont... hunt for the cot bed

today, we went to Ikea, bb Kingdom and bb hypermart.
but we started our day later than normal. only left the house close to 2pm.
we saw some at Ikea but mummi din like any :( daddi on the other hand saw 1 that he likes pretty much. kekeke... i left IKEA with someting in tow..check out the last pix. after that we went to both bb kingdom & hypermart. but as I was asleep i din know what they were lookin at......

guess, they din buy any coz mummi & daddi still discussing whether should get the one from mothercare or not ??????

on the way home, we stopped at auntie susan's plc, she has gone home yesterday. jaxten bb was born 3days ago, Nov 22nd at Thomson Medical.

hunt for cot bed

i started my dad like any other Saturday morning.....but today, its with a mission! hunt for my cot bed ........

after i had my milk, grandma brought me to the supermarket. later my mummi and daddi met us at the supermarket and brought me to Koufu for thier breakfast while grandma went home with the groceries as she had her breakfast already.

after we got home from breakfast, i came home to bathe and I had my nap. later i had my lunch, cereal with pumpkin. after lunch we went out, we headed for Kidzloft.

it was a short ride and soon we reached Kidzloft. while Daddi was checking out the cot, mummy and grandma kept me entertained ! LOL, mummy juz couldn't resist and as usual took photos of me while daddi was buzyyyyyyyy....

aftr kidzloft we head to PS, Mothercare. coz my Daddi want to check out the Humphprey's... but it costs way too much $805 !!!! so Mummi said that is way too much for a cot bed. so we din get it......

mission failed ! to be continued tomorrow .............................

surprise visit from penang

we had an impromptu dinner meet from a dearest frend today who is in town.
we met at NYDC tonight. just 4 of us gals coz it was such a last minute ting.
