Let us all be our own best mom! We know ourselves and our children better than anyone! Let's all be the best for them. I'm a t-shirt and shorts, pony tail, no make-up kind of mom that likes to go on walks to find treasures like pine cones and big sticks! We like to step on bugs and dig in the dirt! What kind of mom are you?  What makes your kids happy?  Be that person and you will be happy too!

Javin's Room

Javin's room is transportation themed! He loves to tell me that
J-A-V-I-N says Javin! Smart little guy! Under his stripes it says:
Blue jeans and trucks, scrapes on his knees, running in dirt, being a tease, making a face, build and destroy, there's nothing like just being a boy!

Gatlin's Bedroom

We finally got the boys rooms decorated! Thanks to Paula for helping me paint and to Blaine and Paula for the vinyl! We love there rooms! Gatlin's is a sports theme! Under these top three pictures there will be the wording : It's not how big you are, It's how big you play! Cute, right?! Gatlin just had his 9 month check-up and no surprise...he's huge.  He weighed almost 24 lbs, just shy of 30 inches tall, and his head was 18 1/2 inches in diameter...it's the size of Javin's head! He's over the 90th percentile in everything.  The size of an average 14 month old.  Just to compare...Jav was 29lbs and 34 inches tall at 2 years! Crazy!

Uncle JD's Farewell

Brandon and the boys went down to Richfield in April for JD's farewell.  He's going to Houston, TX and enters the MTC this coming Wednesday the 12th! Good luck, JD! We love you and will miss you! Here are some fun pictures from the weekend which was great until Brandon got the stomach flu the morning they were flying home and they almost missed there plane! Poor guy! Alone with 2 little boys and the stomach flu! What a dad!
