School and Snow!!
The letter "L" was this past week...they were very creative in coloring their llamas!
We got enough snow to build the snowman Madilynn had been talking about constantly!
Daddy took Madilynn & Elizabeth out and they got to work...
They actually had enough snow to build two!!
It's a boy and a girl!
Eva wearing this precious little sweater jacket I just love...all of the girls have worn it now! And, it's funny how much they look alike with it on!

A November Weekend...
This past Friday morning the girls had reading time by the fire after breakfast! I loved this...they did it on their own while I was cleaning up the kitchen. I just caught them and got some on video!!
Then we did some fun science stuff...color mixing!
They created lots of beautiful colors!
Madilynn with her science notebook...her drawings (observations) of what we were doing and what was happening!
Then we headed outside in the backyard to get the leaves up. The girls got the rakes and got right to work! Great helpers they were!!
Eva enjoyed playing around the whole yard while we raked and got the leaves bagged up...
Madilynn enjoyed making lots of piles and then counting them up...
She was hard at work and kept up with it the hour we were out! Then Daddy brought us some lunch!
Then Saturday...Razorback Day!

October wrap-up...
So...about three weeks ago...It was Monday afternoon (Oct.22nd). Madilynn was at her piano class. Eva, Elizabeth and I were hanging out getting supper started and watching it RAIN! (It doesn't rain that often here!)
Then, our fun to dance to song came on the radio (Toby Mac "Me without you") and Eva got to dancin'...
She loves to dance in the car too, by the way! She'll be dancing to whatever song is on k-love before we even get out of the driveway it's sooo sweet!
Early Tuesday morning...our first snow of the season...
It came a dusting of snow every morning that week, and then would melt by mid-day.
Daddy was away the last two weekends in October. The first a guys hunting trip in the mountains, while us girls did some shopping! Then the second weekend was for work. Anyways, us girls had lots of fun around the house, oh and we got sick...all of us! It started with Madilynn and pneumonia, then I got it, then colds, now Elizabeth with a double ear infection and so far I think Eva has just had a cold and is getting lots of teeth in including those 1 yr. molars! ouch! We've still managed to have lots of fun...
Eva loving on her monkey that stays in her bed. When she's tired or doesn't feel good I've caught her getting it out of her crib and carrying it around - so sweet!
lots of pretty teeth...
On Sunday after church Elizabeth with her paper she colored!
So much fun playtime came after having these boxes out for a couple of days...

Field Trip!
With fall break and all...we decided it was time for a field trip!
Eva was excited!
We took the girls to the nature center in the canyon near our home. This outing involved about a 15min. trail walk from the parking lot to the center. Once inside it was warm and full of fun things for the girls to see and do!
First they checked out the turtle, snakes, and spiders...
Madilynn was about as tall as the mule deer...
Looking closer at those butterflies, dragonflies, grasshoppers, and other bugs with the magnifying glass!
This was a fun game for the girls. They put their hand in the hole and felt of an object in the box and then tried to guess what it was. The first one was a turtle shell...Madilynn got them right, yea!
Then she went over to the wildlife viewing area. She found birds and chipmunks just out the window and even got to use binoculars to check them out!
Elizabeth looking at the fossil rocks
Daddy & Madilynn tried this game, and I think Daddy finished it. It was matching up each animal with its poop...
We got Eva out of the stroller to enjoy herself too! Looks like she's taller than a coyote...
See how far she can reach...
animal puppet area
they enjoyed this spider
Madilynn looked through the different rocks and fossils
Elizabeth went around the whole place hooting like the owl (good thing we were the only ones there!)
Daddy & Eva
Madilynn looked at a few books in the library area
Then Elizabeth & Eva made their way to the wildlife viewing area and enjoyed it too!
As we drove back into town the view across the canyon to the Wellsville's was beautiful!
Such a fun field trip. Madilynn said it was so fun and we had to go back!
