Buckle up, 321. It's going to be a wild ride....
#1. #MarchMadness
We're now to the Sweet 16! HERE is the list of all the teams that are still in.
This March Madness has been one for the books. It's included two 14-3 upsets, a #1 seed out before the Sweet 16, and the most games (5) in a tournament decided by a single point.
From a PR perspective, you couldn't have scripted this any better. These close matches and dramatic finishes are exactly what viewers want.
#MarchMadness has been trending on Twitter for a week. The top trends within March Madness the past day have been Sweet 16 and Wichita State.
Oh, and my pick for the 'ship is still in it, so hollllla.
2. #TedCruz
On March 23, 2015, it was announced that Ted Cruz will be running for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Cruz, a senator (R) from Texas, is the first confirmed running candidate for the upcoming election.
Cruz's announcement became the most trending topic on Twitter just two hours after the announcement. What soon became more significant about the announcement was the meaning behind announcing it on the 23rd.
Presidential hopefuls, such as fellow Republicans Jeb Bush and Scott Walker and Democrat Hilary Clinton will probably be announcing their campaigns soon. And so it begins, my friends....
3. #PRWeekAwards
PRWeek held its annual awards ceremony on March 20, 2015. These awards take into consideration campaigns, communications methods and other basic components of public relations itself.
Pete Frates from the MLS group was awarded Communicator of the Year, while Always took away the Campaign of the Year award for the #likeagirl campaign.
PRWeek has both a recap of the awards ceremony and pictures posted on their website (www.prweek.com) and on their Facebook page.
