For thanksgiving this year we were lucky to have my mom's brother Eldon, his wife Val and their daughters Kristen and Kelly with their spouses join us for our feast. Eldon and Val came in from Fort Worth Texas, Kristen, Brian and Connor came in from Olathe Kansas, Kelly and Lance came down from Rexburg Idaho. I think that last time we as a family got together for a Thanksgiving dinner like this was about 18 years ago. Savanna made quick friends with Uncle Eldon on Wednesday night. We hung out at mom's house and ate yummy food and played games. Paige and Connor played so well together, they are about 5 weeks apart in age and there is about 4 inches difference in their height. They would copy each other and laugh at each other. So much fun to see them together. Thursday was a wonderful feast held at Celeste's house (aka Grandpa White's). We had food galore to share with family. The company was wonderful and the kids did their usual thing of running and playing in little space. I think a few even ventured out into the snow for a few minutes before getting caught by their parents. I'm so grateful for my family and the time we get to spend together. Savanna now wants to go visit Texas, Kansas, and Idaho.
