FRIDAY FAVES [5]

Its been a while since the last post on my blog. So happy to share things here again. Not really knowing how often I will blog. Not even exactly what about.
But it feels nice to start with sharing some friday faves of Lonely Houses made by Manuel Pita. Pictures of lonely and small colorful houses in the backdrop of a pastel, crystalline blue sky.
Most of them located in Portugal, one of my favourite destinations after visiting Lisbon again last year.
In love with the silent and dreamy atmosphere!

Deed me zomaar weer even denken aan de lieve, tot hippe mobiele winkel omgebouwde, KEET die ik samen met een vriendin had. Een leuke herinnering!
Fijn dat je iedere dag mooie nieuwe herinneringen kan maken.

FRIDAY FAVES [1]

Afgelopen jaar startte ik met de opleiding Interieurstyling. Fijn om het inrichten en stylen op gevoel meer te kunnen onderbouwen met kennis van bijvoorbeeld het effect van kleuren, materialen en verlichting. En te ontdekken wat mijn stijl onderscheid van het brede scala aan interieurstijlen. 

Nog meer reden om met interieurbladen en - boeken op de bank te zitten en onbeperkt inspiratie op te doen op ondermeer Pinterest.

Inspiratie die ik graag wil delen met een wekelijkse FRIDAY FAVES!

Een week met lieve mensen en leuke dingen. En dat is fijn in de weken dat onze kids als 'part-time' ouders niet bij ons zijn. Weken van gemis, van voor-even-een-ander-ritme, van meters maken op het werk, van genieten van met z'n 2-en, van 'oeps' ineens veel me-time en van verheugen op de vakantie-met-z'n-allen.
En weken waarin ik deze week met mijn liefste vriendin naar de World Press Photo 2015 ging in onze eigen woonplaats Zutphen. Bijzonder, indrukwekkend en heftig beeld. Wat is fotografie toch confronterend mooi.
En de weken waarin we deze week met z'n 2-en gingen zeilen en verliefd werden op KOOS. Samen genieten en samen filosoferend over een weekend zeilen met de kids, want met z'n 2-en en met z'n 7-en is allebeide heel erg fijn!

Such a lovely week. Visiting the wonderful and impressive World Press Photo 2015 in my hometown Zutphen with my BFF (exposition still there until the 28th of July!) and falling in love with KOOS on our weekend sailing together.

BIRTH DAY

Een HAPPY B-DAY week met:

- een bezoek aan de expositie BIRTH DAY van Lieve Blancquaert met indrukwekkende foto's op prachtige locaties in Zutphen, inclusief het gevoel een beetje toerist te zijn in mijn eigen woonplaats;

- genieten van mijn b-day samen met mijn liefste mensen en met als een van de cadeaus het prachtige BIRTH DAY boek met foto's en verhalen van Lieve's reis waarin ze de wijze waarop we onze kinderen verwelkomen in de wereld heeft vastgelegd. Zo blij mee!

- en het vieren van het verjaardagsfeestje van Pip samen met haar liefste vriendinnen op de manage. Zo fijn dat ze zich daar zo op haar plek voelt :)

A week celebrating birthday parties and visiting the exhibition BIRTH DAY by Lieve Blancquaert in such beautiful buildings in our hometown Zutphen. Happy with her book: BIRTH DAY as a B-DAY present!

Pins in black and white and beautiful quotes on my Pinterest-boards.
Love the pinsipration I get from scrolling on Pinterest or pinning new pins wandering around in the webworld.
This week (12-18 August) the first PIN gallery is taking place in Amsterdam with a selection of great pictures collected by eight Dutch pinners, initiated by Studio Sjoesjoe and 101woonideeen. Unfortunately I can't be there this week, but I hope this pop-up exhibition will be continued in the near future!

finca love

I have a crush on this Spanish finca: the concrete floor, the basic white and grey walls and styling. 

With some accessories I used to sell in my webshop like the horse swing, the tire basket and the crochet stool cover. Realizing I miss my creative job sometimes....

The Finca Pura Vida is a B&B in Benissa run by a dutch family. Such a great place to spent your holidays!
