Our Story Starts Here

This was that very first day that led us to forever <3<3<3

Dated back 5 years ago, on 07/07/2020 ..

(and yes, we are the Covid couple..)

 The plans we make

And chances we take

I feel everything more with you

Quiet confidence

And trusting every step

And we know that our faith will get us through

Our story starts here

Before our eyes, now we find

It all becomes so clear

Our story starts here

Constant faith

In the words we say

And it makes us sure we’re never letting go

It’s so obvious

Forever calling us

It’s the first day

Yeah it’s the first page

[Media Launch] The Ladies Cue

Is about time to RESET, REFOCUS and RESTART!

I left Scoot at the beginning of this year and have been resting at home since then... Is about time now to work on new plans and tasks but the thought of getting back into the workforce after a long break stresses me much. I have been seeking friends and turning to them for advice and directions. I was then reminded of a community I was introduced to upon knowing Melissa; The Ladies Cue.

The Ladies Cue is a lifestyle community for ladies by ladies. It is an online and offline platform created to support ladies through the different stages of life, in particular, working mothers or ladies who shoulder multiple responsibilities and commitments. The Ladies Cue prompts the ladies to support and empower each other.

Through Melissa, the COO of The Ladies Cue, I had the pleasure to attend The Ladies Cue's official media launch after its rebrand. The official media launch was held at Chef Avenue, Tai Seng late last year with an interesting tour of Chef Avenue, an uplifting dialogue session on 'Know Your Worth' while enjoying a mini 3-course meal prepared by Made in Orient as well as a Lucky Draw!

Lady luck came to me that day, rewarding me with X2 sessions of Body Sculptor Treatment by Raffles Lady with Beauty Mums & Babies. It was definitely the easiest and most relaxing slimming session I have ever come across. So, thank you, The Ladies Cue!!

The virtual cafeteria is possibly the safest and the most convenient option for corporate lunch at work now! Check out SPOONFUL MEALS @spoonful.meals now and start planning your orders!!

Spoonful Meals, now the largest cloud kitchen operator and delivery-only brand creator in Hong Kong, has launched its brands in Singapore. With over 1,000,000 meals delivered to date, Spoonful Meals aims to provide consumers in Singapore with more choice, more convenience and more delicious food. The thriving delivery market is joined by NOSH, GA, and Sesami. (The official launch is said to be in upcoming May 2020.)

All meals are prepared and cooked in a cloud kitchen centralised to the delivery area, ensuring that the food delivered stays fresh and timely. With the help from their delivery partner Foodpanda's extensive network, the operator promises to deliver each order within 20 minutes.

When I was at the launch, I witnessed the excitement from Max von Poelnitz, the founder of NOSH and Spoonful, about bringing his business into Singapore's market. It was a short and sweet introduction he made.

With NOSH, GA, and Sesami offering different types of cuisine, consumers are treated to a variety of food options to satisfy their immediate cravings.

I had the privilege to try some of their offerings and they are really delicious! ( Pictures of food below are catered for media launch day and differ from its menu, kindly check their menu for exact items for your orders. )

NOSH

NOSH offers healthy California cuisine with its selection of Burrito bowls, salads crudites and vegetarian options. Lean meats, fresh vegetables and foods low in saturated fats are the order of the day, great as a light lunch or an afternoon snack. Each meal will boast a low-calorie count of between 400 to 600 per serving and have been carefully curated with a high-protein with low-fat content; ideal for weight watchers and the health-conscious.

GA

GA roughly translated to 'home-cooked', offers a selection of heart-warming Chinese favourites, reminiscent of Cantonese style comfort food. Apart from serving dishes close to the taste of home, the brand will also launch the Impossible meat in some of its dishes, made from plants as a healthier alternative. GA was designed by a team of Hong Kong-based chefs with a focus on comfort food and affordability.

Sesami

Sesami features Japanese cuisine which is not only nutritionally balanced but also beautifully packed in Bento boxes.

In Singapore, Spoonful Meals currently retails via the Foodpanda delivery platform for direct consumer business and corporate orders can be made via the Spoonful app.

[Beauty Review] Beauty Care from THE MAGICAL CLOUD

Being a Cabin Crew is my job and I have just completed four consecutive back-to-back overnight flights. Flying from Athens back to Singapore, and then to Chang Sha, followed by Tiruchirappalli and Bali... I felt so exhausted by the end of my fourth one. My body was aching and feeling restless, my legs were sore, my skin became very dry.

Luckily for me, I received some beauty care products from The Magical Cloud, just in time for me to use and enjoy them during my off days.

The Magical Cloud is a local brand and they specialised in offering natural and organic beauty care products suitable for one's skin, face, and body. There is no chemicals or preservatives added in their products' ingredients, allowing us to pamper ourselves with ease and comfort.

Among the many wonderful items available from its website, I decided to pick these three for a start;
(1) Oh my, I'm exhausted! Foot Spa (250ml)
(2) BYE BYE Stinky! Foot Spray (20ml)
(3) Yummy Honey! Body Scrub (200ml)

Oh my, I'm exhausted! Foot Spa (250ml)

I have always wanted to enjoy foot spa at the comfort of my own home and this has now become one of my favourite product they offer! A perfect item to use right after returning home from a long day out, whether is from work or play. It is easy to use and the result can be felt instantly after the soak, leaving you feeling all refreshed and relaxed! I tried it after my work, poured the entire pack into a pail of warm water and let my sore, tired feet soak for a good 10 to 15 minutes as according to the instruction. The Peppermint has antibacterial and antifungal properties, and it has a light minty scent. The moment I lifted my feet off the water, I could instantly feel a cooling sensation and it felt amazing! The foot spa improves circulation, energizes tired feet, refreshes and aids to combat odour.

( There are no chemicals or preservatives hence it is to use within 6 months after opening. )

(2) BYE BYE Stinky! Foot Spray (20ml)

The Tea Tree foot spray comes in a handy 20 ml size that can be carried in the bag while on-the-go and an easy solution to prevent odour formation. To use, just shake well and then spray on feet from a 15 cm distance. Sometimes, I will also spray it on worn shoes, especially my cabin shoes which I frequently wear them at work. Tea Tree neutralizes odour and prevents odour formation. It also has antiseptic, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It contains 100% pure Australian tee tree essential oil.

( There are no chemicals or preservatives so use this within 1 month after opening. )

(3) Yummy Honey! Body Scrub (200ml)

Lastly, the Yummy Honey! Body Scrub smells just like Honey and Sugar in Olive Oil. The product was able to exfoliate dead skin cells away yet does not leave my skin feeling dry, thanks to the Olive oil in it which will get absorbed within 10 minutes after use. Being in the aircraft makes one's skin dry and it feels great knowing that I can use this body scrub even after working on a long flight and leaving my skin feeling fresh and moisturized! After using it myself, it felt exactly like I had just done a Body Scrub treatment from a Spa and I had a good night sleep thereafter.

( There are no chemicals or preservatives so use this within 3 months, store refrigerated. )

( I scooped out and placed it on paper towels so as to show a clearer image of how the body scrub looks like. )

I am really grateful to have received and get to know about this brand and its products, so thank you The Magical Cloud! When there are days where I just want to stay at home ( being too tired or simply just lazy to head out ), I will enjoy using products from The Magical Cloud and have a personal pampering session at my own comfort, just like doing a mini Spa at home!
