Yeap I'm back in Singapore for more than a week now. Reality hits; it's no longer as carefree as it is in Beijing. I shall get on track and focus on life. I came to realise that my priorities might have been a little off in the past. I shall find joy in simplicity.
Had my retro 21st on Monday. MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME AND THANKS FOR THE PRESENTS AND WELL WISHINGS.
I know I said to my ocip group that I want no soft toy. But surprisingly, I find the Doraemon very comforting. Probably cuz it's very huggable and I can cry my hearts out hugging it if I need to. HAHA. Probably cuz it's Doraemon and most 亲切 to me. Probably cuz of the watch that accompanied it also. Very nice (Dont know if there's another meaning though I can possibly think of one).
Another touching present I received is a newly painted room! From my primary school friends who slogged one whole day with me to get it done. They're amazing. :)
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the other presents as well!! Like the Bobbi Brown makeup set, the Guess bag, the Charles and Keith bag, the Royce chocs, the Perlini Silver's bracelet, the Topshop card, the Metro vouchers!!! And of course, the angpows! :)
The many cards that accompanied them were sweet. I can see hallmark being the market leader. Hahaha I simply love the bears :D Been tidying my room ever since I came back and I found joy in going through the many cards I receive over the years and going through the neoprints taken when we were all still young and innocent. GOD i feel so old now. HAHA. I'm sure these 21st cards will accompany me for the many years to come.
It's really good to meet up with friends and family after what seems like a million years. Just seeing and hugging them feels so good. Though I couldnt catch up with them much during the bdae celebration. People, meet up yea!
Anw, went on a present shopping trip the next day. Somehow tiring but yet kinda inspiring. Interesting due to different train of thoughts.
School is starting. Till then.
p.s. I realized that all those funny/interesting/random/unlucky encounters in China and HongKong were left out. But I'm lazy to continue typing. HAHA meet me and I will tell. ;)
