E Lit test 2day was so totally "not an insult to my intelligence" -as said by the teachers. I didn't know half the terms and just blindly matched them to whatever definitions that make the slightest sense to me.
09S77 was kinda dead during Bio Tutorials today. Poor Mrs Sim tried so hard to make us more alive but i am sad to say that she barely succeeded. Even though we made her tell us her lame jokes by promising to laugh at them, 09S77 was still barely alive! But the funny thing was, we were ALIVE during fac dance practice!! Haha.
Mass convo with 09S77 in MSN is so hilarious!! Lunch today was funny too!
Finally finish discussion on PW on MSN. This is not the real thing and already it's lots of research. Wonder how the real thing will be like?!

The Hwa Chong Spirit!
I'm gonna blog to my heart's content today! It's been such a long time since i've done any serious blogging. OMG, i don't even know where to start! Let's see..
The 2nd week of Orientation can be described in one word-exfuntabulous!! (Haha.. i just made that word up!) It was exciting, fun, fantastic and fabulous at the same time! I missed my OG alot during the second week of orientation. It felt like we were just getting to know each other better and already we have to seperate. But still, my super hyper CT made up for it. For those who don't already know, i am in the APOLLO faculty! (Nope, not apollo the biscuit, but apollo the god of the sun!) The other faculties are ARES, ARTEMIS and ATHENA. And i am in 09S77!!

Hmm.. does't really look like 77, does it?!
We are a fun class, made up of many fun-loving people! I swear that i will get abs soon from laughing so much when i am with them! I am forever laughing at Seaweed's-the CT rep-lame jokes. And Cal's-S77's god-laughter is so infectious that whenever he laughs, i start laughing too. Our class is the ROJAK class, as we are made up of many subject combinations. The standard ones will be Bio, Chem and Maths. The fourth subject is made up of English Literature, German, French, Japanese, Art, and also Music! So yup!! We are a bunch of talented people!!!
Ok, i shall deviate from introducing my class and blog about WAR GAMES now, since it flashed pass my mind and i vaguely remember saying that i will blog about it. War game was, hmm.. how should i put it?-as civilised as it could get. haha. We wore our colours proudly and played for glory!
I dare say that APOLLO had the best defence and i am proud of it! Though we suffered attacks from ATHENA and was backstabbed by the others, we still managed to come in 2nd, though it was a bit of a disappointment for us, we were still proud of ourselves because we knew we did our best! I seriously think that APOLLO has such good spirit!

Oh ya, campfire!! That night was a blast! It marked the end of orientation and i was determined to make the most out of it! i shouted myself hoarse supporting APOLLO for class flag and class item! And believe it anot, we won both!! We were seriously proud, because earlier that day Alfred(our fac head) was telling us that APOLLO had never won these 2 items before and that we would be making history if we won them. We finally achieved it and when we were announced as winners, the whole faculty screamed and cheered at the top of our voices. Cheers of "WHY ARE WE SO PRO? ** WE ARE APOLLO!!**" erupted and the feeling of pride and satisfaction was immense! Campfire that night was a blast as we sang all the college songs and danced all the 5 dances.
Although we didn't know the steps well, we still had fun! After that, we stayed back in school and chatted as (half) a class.
We lay down on our backs and gazed at the stars, listening to songs and singing along at the same time. I would never forget that day as it was a nice experience.

Tutorials are piling up and i still do not have a CCA.
And oh, i realised something! If i don't go anywhere else during the weekends, i will be in Hwa Chong 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It just varies whether i am in Hwa Chong Instituition or Hwa Chong Instituition Boarding School. OMG!! I can just become a 宅女already!

A sneak peak on the week behind me.
It's been quite a while since i posted somthing on my life. Had been pretty busy the whole of last week and had no time to post something that would do last week justice. I just hope i can still remember every little detail that i wanna post about, especially the ones about my class, the war games and also the campfire! Right now i shall just post some pics and let the pictures do the talking. Haha. Will most probably update during the weekend!
09S77 - Ain't we cool??

09S77 - before war games!!!!
Apollo!!! - before war games!! All FIRED UP!!!

End of week 1
We're at the halfway mark of orientation. One week down, one more week to go. The first week passed by quickly, mostly because i was having fun and enjoying myself. The mornings could be a bit draggy due to lectures and talks, but the afternoons were a whole different story! The last day of orientation with our orientation group was a blast!
Even though we lost all our games (we still got 1000 points!! Hehe.. if u know what i mean!), we still tried our best and enjoyed ourselves tremendously!
I liked the game "slippy slope" and was kinda sad that i only got one chance of playing it.
(Quoting Shu Mei) Horny Hugo..
We went to Seoul Garden after orientation and reached there just in time for our 7.30pm booking. Then the mission to eat our money's worth kicked in and everyone started digging in.
OG 39!! We rock!!
I was so proud of OG 39 for coming together and making a scrapbook for our OGL, Jeremy.
In the end, the scrapbook looked so nice that i wanted to keep it for myself=p

Lol. We had lots of fun making the scrapbook, and Hugo provided much of the entertainment.
Shu Mei was busy being photographer and took lots of funny pictures which i am sure will bring back lots of memories!

We presented Jeremy with his gift and he posed with it! Hehe.. Ain't our OGL cute?!
Before leaving, we went outside Taka to take another "almost" group picture.
OG 39!! We rock!!

Went for modern dance audition yesterday morning. I have bruises and "blue-blacks" all over my knees to show for it. Lol. This is one of the times which i dpn't feel confident. I guess i should have known that i was kissing dance goodbye when i chose to join track and field instead of dance two years ago in Crescent. 28 months without dancing and i am rusty. I feel proud of myself that i can still split!
Went to Mrs T's house for our tradition of chinese new year reunions with Crescent Malaysian scholars. Had lunch and caught up with Soap and Tallie and also all the juniors and seniors.

The start of something new
I finally have internet connection again!! This is the first time i am blogging since moving into HCIBS. We've been "privelleged" enough to stay at both hall B and hall C, which means we had to move twice before getting our permanent rooms. It is super tiring to move all those boxes! One thing i like about HCIBS compared to NYGBS is that there is a lift here. So, unlike in NYGBS, i don't have to carry all those heavy boxes up 4 levels. The food here is ok i guess, although i have eaten only 3 dinners and 4 breakfasts here. Dinner is actually ok but breakfast usually is barely edible. I wonder why...
My Jc life has started and i am on my 4th day of being a HC student. The 1st impression i had of HC was that it was intimidating. I went there on the 1st day in Crescent uniform. About 85% of the cohort were already in HC uniform. It made those who were not in the "mud-colour" (to quote one of the teachers) uniform stand out. However, one consolation is that it is easy to spot other Crescentians and we tend to click together, taking comfort in someone familiar. Oh ya, i will only be getting my uniform on Monday=( apparently they ran out of stocks for my size.
Orientation!! HC's orientation is gonna last for 2 weeks!! It ends on 13th feb!! We will be divided into our CT classes by Monday and by then we would know our faculty. For the past 4 days, we have been having talks and lectures in the morning and orientation in the afternoons. We learned about Hwa Chong's history and felt Hwa Chong's spirit! During orientation, we played games-got wet and dirty,
sang songs, shouted ourselves hoarse with cheers and also did mass dance. 2morrow will be the last day of orientation with my orientation group, i think 5 days is too short!! I wished we had more time to get to know each other! Next week, we will have orientation with our CT classes, time to make new friends again.
My orientation group- 39!!

OG lunch!!
Getting wet during games..

Group photo!! Go OG39!!
Oh ya, i think fencing and wushu are cool CCAs.. But i doubt i will be joining fencing, because the cost of the eqquipments are high. I will not join track and field anymore because of my ankle. Fifi persuaded me to go for volleyball tryouts. I might just go. So many CCAs but so limited time. I don't know what i wanna join. Music and Dance are having auditions on Saturday too. Wondering if i should go..
