About 31 years ago, I took a cake decorating class At JC Penneys, thinking it would come in handy with my girls birthdays. Actually I was pregnant with Kristi when I took the class. By the way, the same lady teaches classes at Hobby Lobby now. I love doing this, but if you know me, I get very detailed and carried away when I make cakes. My girls aren't too interested in cake decorating, but Kourtney is. I heard through a little bird Kourtney wanted to help me decorate her Birthday cake. It would have been easier, less messy, and I probably would have done it a little different, if I had done it myself. So, Kourtney and Macy came over, spent the night, and we decorated her cake. She wanted Hannah Montana, so away we went. Kristi and Robyn found some HM guitar ornaments, and star shaped ornaments with H Montana's picture on it. We put these on the cake and Kourtney did the rest. She spent almost 3 hours cutting out shapes and letters out of fondant to put on her cake. She was soooooo proud of it when we finished. She said, with a big smile on her face,"My friends are going to love this cake and it's so awesome". All the mess, the time spent, and then the cleanup was all worth every minute of seeing a little girl having the time of her life in her "Memas" kitchen. This is making memories and you can't get any better than that!!! Kourtney, I loved the cake and Happy "8Th" birthday!

The best part of the cake, the icing!

Oh boy! This looks just like playdough

Trying out the new "spray Paint" and it worked

Kourtney rolling out the fondant, fixing to create her cake

She's working hard on her designs!

Putting it all together on the cake!

Macy helped too, she liked the fondant way too much!

The finished product!!

4 hours later and at 12:00 am, were're finished!

Exhausted and full Macy!
