Firstly, sorry that i took long time to update this blog, seriously sorry, as i was really busy. Thank you to Elena and Beans for reminding me to update this blog.
I had a great week last week, i'm going to write down, what had happen, so beware long post, hahaha. (I know i should stop updating this blog by weeks).
Wednesday
Went for picnic with the boys, at Kota Kemuning. It was planned on Sunday, but then we (which is Chander and myself) told the guys, bout it on Monday, and Tuesday. So it was kinda late thing. Chander was kind to bring sandwiches, Gary brought some cordial drinks, Kelvin Yee brought Coke and 100%, Aaron said he will bring some suprise (turns out it was sandwich TOO!
). I brought my camera and petrol
. Later on Andrew and Beans joined us along. So the total of those who came is 8, Aaron, Chander, Gary, Kelvin Yee, Mervyn, Andrew, Beans, and myselflah. On the way back, we saw 3 ghosts. Quickly we ran away.
Thursday
Uncle Dexter asked me to form a group to help out during Iba Unplugged. Our job is including, providing accomodation for Daya Gospel Centre's people, who actually came all the way from Johor Bahru, to perform in Iba Unplugged. So in Thursday, my group (Aaron, Chander, Gary, Mervyn and Nicholas) came to help out, with the things in church. We cleaned down the church, sweep and mop, and so on. Then at night, around 10PM, they came, and then we greet them. Then we went for supper that night.
Friday
We do our job upstairs this time. Again, we sweep, mop, clean, vacuum, arrange, carry things up and down, and make sure everything is in order. Then at 5pm, we went to a nearby restaurant for lunch. When we're there, this indian guy who sat next to our table, talked to us. He says he wants to buy us food. I apa lagilah, thought of wallop only, but then, quite scary, and i scared later i get into trouble. But he kept on insisting. At first it was just Aaron, Chander and myself there. Then when Gary came, he asked Gary to order, and he will belanja. THEN my brother came, this time, again he asked my brother to order, then he will belanja. To cut the story short, we took some risk, and decided to pay ourself, secretly, scared later he will whack our head with Carlsberg bear bottle, if he caught us paying for our food. It was 7PM, and Uncle Dexter asked me to send Daya people to Sunway Pyramid. It was my first time driving the church van, full of people, and i prayedlah so that everything runs smooth. Went there, and end up stuck in jam. Then finally manage to reach Pyramid, i sent them, and went to Alam Megah left my brother, and then go back to Sri Muda, and send back the guys. Once i send back the guys, i notice that the petrol was low, but the light had not come out. So i just went to churchlah, to join GaYA. It was bout 8:40pm something. BY 9:57PM, Aunty Carol called and then i drivelah to Sunway. While going to there, i was thinking, should i stop and refuel or just go straight. I totally FORGOT that it's ALWAYS jam at Sunway. So it was a silly mistake, for me to do. I just go ahead. Once i was there, the light came on. I didnt panic. Then THAT time has come, JAM!!! So ape lagi, stucklah! It totally irratates me, that there is selfish people, who always cuts que, and then go to the next lane, give signal and comes in. Dont the feel ashame of themself? I think i stuck in jam for about 15 minutes, despite Sunway was just opposite me. While waiting for the jam, the light still lights up, so i decided to turn off the air-cond. Then once i reached there (as in the waiting place), i ON back the air-cond. They came in and sat. In my mind, i just kept on praying, hoping nothing will happen. Then each time i move, the van vibrates, adding more to my horror. At one time, when i was moving the van mati enjin (which means the engine stopped). If i was a fair white person, you will see my face turn to red, not blushing, but scared, PANIC!!! They were quite scared too, i think. I didnt have the courage to tell them, that petrol was low, VERY LOW. The engine manage to start back, THANK YOU LORD! Then i continue to drive, to many jamslah. Seriously, i kept on praying and praying to God, so that the van doesnt stop. To cut the long story short, i finally manage to reach Petronas, KESAS and top up. Then finally manage to go back to church. Daya people give me one (two) token of appreciation.
2 J'Co's donuts! If you know me, you will know that i had never eaten it before despite many have eaten them before. And despite it's a donut, it's very expensive place to go to, and each one of this is expensive. So yea, those two is my first J'Co donuts. I know it dont look good, because i put them inside a small plastic bag, and they got smudged by one another.
Saturday!
It was the day! I really got to be serious that time, make sure everything goes on smoothly. No error must happen, oklah if one or two small errors, but that's not we want to happen. So came to church at 2PM and start making sure everything goes on well. For today our job is being ushers, to show them the way, give response slip and other stuffs as well. So i went up and down, make sure everything was ok. The M.C. for the day is none other than Uncle Dexter. He did a good M.C. job, making sure that the crowds get entertain. Being usher at the ground floor is kinda hard. The ushers down there was Chander, Kelvin Yee and Mervyn. They keep on telling the people, the first floor is full, but they didnt listen. Some give excuse, my friend is up therelah, some said i go there for a while, but then they didnt come down back. It wasn't our intention not letting them go up, it's just we want them to be comfortable. So that's why we asked them to have a seat at the ground floor. I too watched the show downstairs. I saw Uncle Kim Foong, also sat downstairs through the screen. Watching both of his sons, David Lim and James perform upstairs. It was a great event, i love it a lot! The crowd turnout was a lot too. Hopefully many have listen and understand the message by Uncle Mun Yee (correct, ah his name?). So after Iba Unplugged ended, we went up and clean. Somehowlah gotlah some smart fella decided to bring Milo and drop in on the floor.
So basiclly that's what all the good things happen throughout the week. For the sad or emo things, it's below.
Emo things
I just dont know what else i need to improve my bass skills. Looking at the Iba Unplugged contestants, i realised that i'm still the same way as years back. Looks like i didnt improve a lot. Recently i slap my bass with new strings, bought Fast Fret, got it new strap, and did some tuning to it's next and fretboard. BUT still, it's not good enough. So now it's either the bass problem, or me. I'm really disappointed. Ajak people to jam with me, also people not interested. When i bought my bass, i thought i could have improve, but it looks same as the time, when i used my Kapok guitar to practise my bass. I dont know if bass is the one for me. So for now, i'm just leaving it there, i dont know if im going to purchase a new bass, go to class, or practise even more or just forget bout it.
I called up the company i went for interview last week. AGAIN, i didnt get the job. I starting to feel, that i have some unknown crime record. It seems like during interview, i do my best, and i almost get the job, but i wont get it at last. For now, i dont know if i should still look for job, or just leave it aside.
Yesterday, while i was going somewhere, i got into accident. Dont worry, im still alive and kickin'. But my poor car's "pants" kena "londeh".
As you can see, my bumper's not in it's position. I give you a simple example, if you dont understand. My bumper is a pants.
The brown (looks white here) thing is my bumper the "pants". The black and brown thing, is the tapak. It's something like the underwear. SO now, the "underwear" is above the pants. WHERE CAN?
So today, i went there and do the repairlah. The lady who banged me, said she's willing to pay for the repairslah. Thankfully that the bumper is still ok, and no need to repairlah.
Bumper being removed. So now done alreadylah. Just hope, not going to get anymore accidents soon.
Again, this week had been real good for me. I learn new things and met new people. I hope this will not be the end. And i would like to thank :-
God, Aaron, Adrian Siok, Chander, Gary, Ian Teoh, Kelvin Yee, Mervyn, Meng Xian, Mei Yoon, Nicholas and Uncle Dexter for every help being given during this 4 days!!! Also sorry, if i ever used wrong words, or not polite during this time too (that means after this time, is oklah).
For those who feel emo, i dedicate the 3 pictures below for y'll. It's not the best picturelah, but it has some meaning to it.
