Yesterday

Yesterday's worship was good. Ok, here goes the story of why i choose a song which no one knows. Before i came out, I've had 2 songs. Since the theme was about, thanking God for his grace and mercies, so both songs got to do with thanking. Then i came out, and when i open my book to say out the first song, i lost it. The song was not there anymore. Then i looked at one song, which has almost same meaning of thanking, "it goes i thank you Jesus, something something". I requested that, and another song. Turns out, no one knows to sing the song. So yea, shylah. Then later during breakfast time, people asked me why i choose a song, which i don't know, so i explained my reasons. Another case was, when i requested There's Something About That Name. I know this song long ago, it's a beautiful song, try to listen to There's Something About That Name by Christ For The Nations Institute.

Then after that, i went around tables and ask people to sing Happy Birthday song for Nicholas. Then i begin the countdown and sang, too bad not much people noticed, hahahaha. Probably, he's not famous yet, hahaha. Anyway, there were 3 other celebrations there, Joshua Lai, Emelyn and lastly our own Unker Dexter!!! After that, some of us plans to go watch movie and bowling, because when i plan futsal, not much people wants to join in. Off to Summit, the turnout was huge, i just told to some people, and yet the were others came as well. Since we came there late, there wasn't enough time to watch movie, so therefore we went play bowling. I thought since Isaac is not here, i got chance to win. But since Sarah's there, i know that she will win, i must not lose to her. We played 2 games, i was the 2nd lowest, lower than me is Nicholas. My true powah unleashed during the 2nd game, but it came later than i expected. Anyway, it's one good gamelah.

Then we went for short makan and minum time. Then next some of them went windows shopping at Salvation. Then i left early. I came home from Summit, then i went inside Fitri's car, went to Sunway Pyramid. It was good Fareez joined us as well. Fitri needs to buy some clothes, so that's why we went to Pyramid. But we headed to cinema first to watch movie. Since we came there about 6:30pm, most of the movies were in 11:30pm, or 9 something. Fareez wants to watch Spirit. I planned to watch Cicakman, because i wanted to watch that movie, since it just came out, and Cicakman 1 was kinda above average to watch, that is for melah. Then i saw something, and i said to them, "Let's watch Yes man!". Hahahaha! I told them, i had watched the movie before, and i wanted to watch again, and they will not regret watching it for sure. It was kinda hard to persuade them, because they think it's not fair for me, since I've watched it, then i might not enjoy it. We agreed to watch the movie, and Fitri paid the tickets, paid as in (belanjalah). Then we went to the cinema. At first, we sat at this "R" row. We sat and sat for sometime, then after bout 20 minutes later, some lady came, and said "Excuse me, this is our place". Turns out our place is in the "P" row. Then we quickly changed place. I was so shy, man!

Anyway, movie was good, and it ended around 9 something. Then we went to Jusco, there was big sale going on there. Fitri wants to buy some office wear. While he was choosing his clothings, i saw some good stuffs there. I went and try this super cool executive long sleeve, but i cannot wear it, i don't dare post any pictures here. Then i asked the salesman, where can i find for big size clothing, he said i can find it at Suave. Suave i go. There were some XXL size there, so it was goodlah, then i saw one nice one. So i took it and wear it. I can wear it but . . . . my stomach was so big, that the shirt button was about to rip off any moment.

There wasn't any wrinkle before i wore it, and you can see the after effects. For a moment, sadness filled in my mind, i saw other people manage to buy nice clothing, and yet only i can't find one good long sleeves shirt. I emo-ed. Then after playing for Fitri's stuffs, we wanted to go out of Jusco, then i told them, to wait first, and i just walk around and see if there is still any shops selling big shirts. Then i walked and walked look around. Then i came to D'Urban shop. While i was looking looking, then a lady came, and i asked if there was any size for me, she said she will ask, then we followed her. Came to another part of different shop, i think it's Polo i cant remember. Then there another lady showed me a shirt, and asked me to try it on. I tried, and it fits perfectly!!!

No the white colour thing, is not church camp name tag. It is the price tag which made me go 'WWWWOOOOOOOOO"!!!!. The price is RM119!!! So i thought got discount, so i asked her, she said "No, it's not under discount". Sadly i walked away. Then we went and buy slippers, not melah, but Fitri. Then i suggested we go check out Converse shop. They have wide range of shoes there (actually, it's the same shoe designs therelah, but different price). Then i asked for Size 12, and one of the guy said they have it, but the design is limited. So i went and see the designs, my goodness it's all looked the same to me.It's either it's longer above, or the normal shoe shape. The prices ranges from RM99 to RM100 somethinglah. Then i saw this ugly Black Sabbath series, hahaha. It's really ugly, it's black and purple, and it looks like the it's corroded. hahaha.

So basically, that's my daylah. Since i was so tired, went out of house for 12 hours plus, i couldn't blog about this yesterday.

December.

Alright, i don't know where and how to begin. Anyway, this is going to be a long post. So just read till wherever you can read, then come back and continue the last part you have read. Hahahaha.

WARNING: Words Overload! Words Overload! Words Overload!

I've celebrated Christmas in SAGC (my current church) for 4 years. Things over in SAGC is way different how i celebrated Christmas in my old church. During every year's carolling, at the end of the carolling (which means last house), people will give present. I felt it was strange for the first few years. So i made myself a promise, this year i had to give. But i don't know where and how to start. Few weeks before Christmas, i asked my CG assistant, Elaine if the CG is doing anything for Christmas. She said "no, but we could try ask aroundlah". Then i emailed my CG members, because since i don't know where to start, i think roughly my CG members would be able to help out. Then i got a message from Elena. She said she's willing to put in some money for the "project". Then later, Yvonne online. I asked if she's willing to join in. She suggested to me, to buy key chains, which costs RM1.50. So i thought, it would be a problem then. The next day, i got a suggestion from Mei Yoon. She suggested to use RM1 note and make heart shape with it. For me, i think it was something different to give, and i emailed it to the rest of the group. Few replied back, and we went on with the "project".

24th of December!

My brother and i went to church early, to do up the "project" with Ivan. With God's help, Aunty Saw Chan (Uncle Dexter's wife) and Sam (their son), were there to help out. We manage to finish before time. After putting in the notes into a small plastic bag, sponsored by Ivan (Thank You!), and stapplering the note onto the plastic. I manage to do in time, and i went to pick up Aaron and Nicholas from their home. I came back to church, took bath, and got ready for Carolling. We had practises, and then we headed to the first home, James' and David Lim's home. Food there was delicious. So delicious, i think terus kosong already the dishes. The next home is my pastor's home, Uncle Voon Siong. Hahaha, this time it's kinda funny, because of rush of time, we sang, we ate, and we ran (Jason Mraz album). I still remember, Shane took this plastic bowl, and wanted to eat Ice Kacang. But since we had to go, he only brought the bowl, with shaved ice only, nothing else. Hahahaha. Next house is Uncle William's house. It was greatlah, because the amount of family/relatives/friends/neighbours were more than last hear, just hoped that the able to get the message of Christmas. The next house is Aunty Josephine's house, it was far away, first time i went to USJ 1. From their house, we went to the last house, Teoh and Elaine's house. I guess we had lots of fun. But i think the amount of people over the years are reducing. I still remember those days, when there were bout 6, 8 plus cars on the road. Sadly many people didn't attend this year's carolling, hope that they could join in next year. Quite happy that this year, the Carolling ended at Putra Heights, which is so near to my home. So i able to get good sleep in time. Thank you to the hosts for providing the dinners and tolerating with us, hahaha. Thank God too for safety of the drivers and passengers.

25th of December!

It's Christmas!!! Anyway, i woke up and got ready went to bus stop to pick Darren up, went to church early for final preparation for the Christmas Drama (will blog bout it in a while). So went there, do the warm up, got ready, changed my clothes and waited. Then the moment arrived, we went to back stage and before you know it, the drama started. In my mind, i thought "This is my last performance, and i have to do my best". So i went out and did my best. I don't know what do people think, or if they can hear me, but i really hope the get the message. After that was message by Uncle Dexter. No matter how many times i have heard his message, i still always have something new to learn about. It was a good message. Then lunch time, my church has the best cooks in Malaysialah, superb turkey man! I ate 4 black pepper turkey (when i say turkey, i meant slices, not the whole). After that, went to cybercafe and played CS. Both Chander and me, nicely "belasah", Aaron and Satishlah. You guys should look at how tension Aaron was, hahahaha. Went back home, and slept. Woke up at night, and was watching tv. How sad is my Christmas nightlah? It was that horrible, that i was watching RTM2, since all other channel show lousy show on Christmas night. Ate food from Kampungku and slept.

26th of December!

The day was great, as we ( the drama team went out for lunch at Sunway Pyramid). We were deciding where to eat, then someone suggested Teh Manhattan Fish Market. It was my first time there, because i don't go to restaurants like this, hahaha. I did passed by the restaurant many times before this, but didn't went inside, It was one of those high class restaurant, where you need to bring at least RM1k to enjoy the foods there. I have to say, that we actually waited quite long for our food to reach. They should have served ice-cream or something like that, while we waited. Drinks over there also expensive, RM5.90 for canned drinks, their "special" mineral water, Fish Market Mineral Water is RM2.90. Sadly, it was the last time, we saw the cast from Bandar Sunway, but hopefully the friendship between Bandar Sunway, and Shah Alam Gospel Centre will be strengthen. Oh! the bill came total about RM316. Discount 10%, so came to RM280 something. The 9 of us paid RM10, and Teoh paid the rest. Thank You Teoh! 26th of December also meant something to me, it was my parent's anniversary, so it' was suppose to be their 23th anniversary. . .

The Drama Team!

It all begin early October, when i got an sms from Teoh, if i wanted to participate in the church drama. I got real excited bout it. Then came the news, we'll be joining with Bandar Sunway. During the few weeks of the drama, things weren't going well. But over the time, things changed. Our first performance was in Bandar Sunway, Elena said we did a good job there. Next was in SAGC. Anyway, i want to take this time to thank Elena for considering me in the drama, despite my little experience in drama and also my attitude of always playing the fool, nevertheless she still took me to act in this drama, without looking at my experience or other reasons. Also there were times, i did upset her, by not being serious or doing my best. So thank you Elena for the chance you gave me, and sorry if i had ever hurt you during the whole production of the drama. Also i want to thank Teoh, for giving me the opportunity as well to serve in this drama. Thanks for becoming the lighting man, despite you had to play drum for both days. Thank you too Gary, for his willingness to serve in the drama team, despite he didn't manage to do so. Lastly, thank you to the fellow actors, James (Artaban), Kevin (Seigfrid), Kok Seng (Soldier), Man Ling (Mother), Darren (Husband), Mei Yoon ( Wife), Brandon (Man), and err. . . to the voice too (cant recall his name), thanks for serving the Lord with all your hearts, and strength, and please forgive me, if i had say the wrong things or do anything wrong throughout the whole drama time. Aahh. . . feels so chasm (as how Darren would put it), after the whole 3 months of practise is over, it's indeed a good thing.

Anyway, the drama is about this guy Artaban, assumed to be the 4th wise man. He was late to meet up with his friends, so he had to go on with his journey to find Baby Jesus, with his loyal servant, Seigfrid. They saw many people in trouble, like the mother who was running away from a soldier, who tried to kill her baby, a beggar who lost his arm, his home and his youngest child, and now he had to find food for his 3 children and a couple who's baby is sick, and they tried to find ways to go to Egytp to see a specialist, but they had no money to do so. Artaban was keeping a diamond, a ruby and a sapphire to give to Baby Jesus to serve him, but he had to give them all away to this poor people, because he felt it would be able to help them. Disappointed, after 33 years of searching Jesus, he met a man, while he was travelling, and the man said that the Jesus he's searching for, had been crucified on the cross. In the end, the Lord spoke to him, that he indeed served Him by helping those in need, referring to the people above. Supposing Artaban died, because of sickness at the end of the drama, but i don't know if James "died-ed" or notlah. This beautiful script was written by, Curt M. Joseph. For me, it did showed me, that all of us Christians have the gift to help out others, and there were ways of which we could help people out, also there are times as well God gives tests us to help people out.

" Artaban:Yes . . . yes. But I still have the diamond. Besides, by now so many people have recognized the Messiah that he has more gifts, more riches than you or I could imagine. To a man of that kind of wealth, what is one ruby more or less? By now the Messiah will have so many people in his service, that (He indicates Seigfried and himself.) one or two more will be of little consequence. One more old man won't mean a thing to him."

"
Artaban: No, I'm too old for that now. I would have given ten-- twenty-- no, thirty years off my life just to have been able to serve him. But it's too late now. Why couldn't I have found him sooner? If I had found him even ten years ago, I would have been able to serve him."

What A Day!

(This event took place yesterday, Thursday 18th of December)

I took a break and went out yesterday with few friends to watch movie. Edwin Tay, came up all the way from J.B. and so i thought to bring him out just go lepak around. Since it was a holiday season, many people are not available, some had went for camps, others are busy. So it was hard finding for people to come along. One of those who could come along is Chander, so that makes 3 of us. It's kinda little, but hey it's something better than nothing, right. So as i was driving to Summit, using the back way, i was on the left lane, and i saw something immediately on the right lane. It was the new Honda City!!! Yea, today (Friday 19th of December) is the official launch, and i saw it a day before, hahahaha.

By the way, it's way more pricey than the previous models. . .

Anyway, while waiting at the traffic light, i received an smsed from Andrew. He says both he and Isaac could join us if we plan to watch movie at 4:30pm. It was around 1:40pm somethinglah, so i replied ok. So that makes 5 of us. Then i smsed Babeng, "Joker next to me got the new City, black colour some more!". Then we reached Summit at last. Went up to GSC, and about to buy tickets for the movie, when Andrew smsed and told that Darren,Lee Xiang, Isaac, Beans and himself are coming as well. So altogether there is 8 people already!! From 3 becomes 8! Then when we're bout to buy the tickets, Oh! we're watching YesMan. Andrew smsed and says that Lee Xiang is not coming. So altogether 7 tickets. The guy who works at the ticket counter, is our friend. His name is Sanjay, and he comes to play captain ball with us most of the time. So we get "Student Rate" despite I'm not a studentlah, of course. So we checked for the seats, and so on. RM42 i paid. Then we got our ticket. Then when we're bout to go down for lunch, we got another sms from Darren. It says " Sorry, Lee Xiang is coming". So we went back to the ticket counter and bout to buy another one. Suddenly, Edwin realised that, the first batch of tickets we bought could be the 2:10pm one. We wanted to watch the 4:20pm show, instead of 2:10pm. So i gave Edwin the tickets, and he checked, it was indeed the the 2:10pm one. KANTOI!!!

So i told to Sanjay, and he told he can't do anything, because once printed, then considered sold. 7 tickets of different time with us, what are we going to do with it!! Then Sanjay took the tickets and went and see his boss. After few minutes he came back, and said that the tickets cannot be returned back. After much talk with him, it's all wasted. Then he started asking people if they wanted to watch Yes Man or not. One couple said they wanted to watch, then he gave them 2 tickets, and took money from them. So now left 5 tickets. It's still lot of tickets, considering one ticket is RM6 x 5 = RM30! He asked us to watch the show first since it was 2:09pm to avoid the waste, then later buy another new batch, and watch again. But we reluctant. So in the end, we bought another 8 tickets. As we're walking down to McD's for lunch, i told the guys, that I'll take all the loss of the 5 tickets, because it was my mistake, didn't check the time. But, of those guys were kind enough, to share me some of their money to cover up the loss. Btw, the McD at Summit such a lousy placelah. The fries already salted, so it's not that nice when we dip it with additional salt and pepper. The Coke tastes more like water, plain water with a bit of soda.

Then at McD, something funny happened. I received back the sms from Babeng, "Ada cun, how much?" (See my sms, above, first paragraph). Since i was in confused mind that time, i looked at the word "A" - as in his name is Adrian, and the word "cun". So i thought it was Andrew, since his name too starts with an "A" and he uses the word "cun" lots of times. So i replied back to him, "Oklah not so cun (was trying to say. not oklah when buying the tickets). . . Anyway, ticket price is RM6. . .". The fella never replied back. Then i got another sms, then when i look at the Inbox, i saw the message that Babeng sent to me, the name there was Adrian. Then i realised i sent wrong message, so i laughed out. Isaac came and meet us at McD. He heard the ticket buying story and he willing to sumbangkan derma bout RM10 to cover up the loss as well. I gave him one of the 5 tickets (the 2:10pm) as souvenir, i even give him the choice to choose which seat which he wants. When i see this situation, i told them an idea. I told, " Hey guys, i got an idea. When the rest of them comes, we give them the 2:10pm tickets. The 4:20pm tickets we sell off. Ok or not?" Since they were all good people, they objected the idea. Then the 4 of us, went for bowling. After a while the rest came. Of course the winner of the bowling would be who else but not m. . . . Isaac! I got second place, thanks to Andrew's throwing that got Strike, and Ivan's throwing that got Spare. Edwin was third, and Chander last, hahahaha. Then we went to this basketball game machine nearby and played there. After the game over, where the machine will block the basketballs from coming out, i went inside the machine, where the thing "holding" the balls from coming out, and i pull out one by one out by using my hand, and shoot in the loop. This is what Nicholas choo do whenever time's up. I kept on doing that again and again. Then Darren followed too. Then i quickly grab his legs and sumbat him inside the machine. Then the rest, Beans and the rest stuffed him inside. Chander tickles him by his belly, hahahaa you should have seen itlah.

Then we went to watch the movie, it was such a good movie. We laughed a lot during every scene of the movie, except for the sad partslah of course. The movie was such a good movie, that
I want to watch it all over again. I wikipedia-ed the movie, and it appears that the writer of the story, actually wanted to say Yes to everything. How i wish i met him before, so i can tell him to give me all his money and he will say Yes, hahahaha!!! After movie we went walking around Summitlah. Later on, Darren, Lee Xiang and Beans went back home. The rest of us went to Mamak and eatlah. After dinner, i plan to follow Isaac and Ivan go to Digital Mall. So when i was going down the by the escalator, i saw the parking machine, but i choose not to pay for my ticket there, instead ill pay at the exit, because i parked my car from 1:40pm something to 7pm something, so i thought ill have to pay bout RM6 or 7. Then i drove my car to the Manual Paying at the exit, just to find it close. So i went drove a outside of the Manual Paying, and parked my car outside, nearby the exit and walk all the way back into Summit. Went back to the machine i spotted earlier, put my card in, and was shocked just to find, the amount i have to pay is. . . RM2.50! Super duper cheap! Thanks Lord! I paid and left.

I was suppose to meet up with Isaac at the Shell station near Summit, because i tumpang his car. So i came there and parked my car and waited for him. He called and ask where was i, and i replied at Shell Stations, he said ok and he will be there in 4 minutes time, and i say ok, and hang up. Then i waited. Then he calls back 5 minutes later and told he's at the Shell compound already. I looked and looked for him, and i cant see him. Then all of a sudden, i just swing my head, like those models do in the shampoo advertisement, and to my disbelieve, i saw another Shell, just in front of Summit! Then i told him, i was at another Shell, and ill drive there. So i start my car back, and drove to that Shell. Then i saw him there, i find a place for parking and went to his car. Then off our journey to Digital Mall. Once in Digital Mall, i saw many gadgets which is nice and *Christmas is coming* thought how thought of if any of my readers who is reading this would buy anything from there for me.

So we're there to buy bunch of CD-Rs for the camp pictures and videos. Also to buy few cartridges for someone's printer. After that we head home. It was a good day indeed for me. I learnt a lot from the day's experience, such as If you go to a cinema, make sure you know someone who works there to get Student's price! Any of y'all plan to go to GSC Summit, look for a guy call Sanjay, and tell him, you're friend of Melvin. He knows me one. Anyway, thanks to everyone, Edwin, Chander, Isaac, Andrew, Ivan, Darren, Lee Xiang and Beans for coming as well, and make yesterday's movie thing, more than just a movie watching session, it was great.

I can shorten up this whole post, but then there's funny things happened, so it's worth sharing, right?

Windows Live Messenger Beta Review (EDITED)

Hey guys, the new Windows Live Messenger Beta is out now! I've downloaded it this morning, and I've install it. As usual there's some improvement over the old one (obviously), and there are some cool functions which i like in this new Messenger.

This is the NEW "face" of the Windows Live Messenger Beta. As you can see that it has almost the same layout as the Windows Vista. By the way, i blacked out my contact's name, personal message and their avatars for their privacy. Anyway, you might ask why there are green, red and orange boxes there? Good question. It's the avatar box, where your avatar will be there, and the colours are actually the status. Green means Available, Red means Busy and Orange means Away (there is white, which only you yourself will be able to see, it means Appear Offline). You can set those who is Online to appear in your contact list, so it wont look like it's packed also it will be easier for you to navigate to other groups as wel. Below the contact's list, there's this thing call What's New. It's shows updates on your contacts, like they have changed their avatars, or their new personal message. You can click at their name, and go to their page, where their previous personal messages can be read there. You can leave a note too.

One of the functions which still remains in the NEW WLM is the themes. You can change them. But notice the red arrow? It looks like a "pull out" so you just click there, and it opens to the themes menu. My choice of theme is this purple theme, which i think it's kinda cool and i just love the colour. I'll search for some Christmas ones soon.

There are the some themes which were already there, but the problem with the themes are that the headers are kinda "pixel-ish". It looks like the header had been stretched. Also the background of your contacts, still remains white, which is same as the old messenger. It's boring.

When you go to Options, you will notice a new tab. It's the Layout tab. I think this new setting is super cool. Where you can choose the size of your contacts avatars. For me, i think it looks much more colourful, unlike last time, where everybody was the green logo only.

Then another tab which had been changed is the Sounds Tab. You can set the sound of the different parts of the Messenger with the preloaded sounds, or your own, or simply mute it.

These are the preloaded sounds. To be honest, the sounds are pretty lousy and don't make sense at all. Some of the sounds are either not suitable, for some of the Messenger's function, and the length of the sound. For example, i were to use the Cafe in Paris sound for my contacts when they come online, it might not be suitable. Or if i used the Driving Bass sound, it's too long. When one contact comes online, then it sounds, then when another one shows up, it sounds again and again and again. So yea, it's not that suitable. But. . .

You can MUTE the Nudge sound. So now, you don't have to listen to that annoying sound anymore.

This is the conversation window. As you can see, it's kinda messy, because i had to blacked the conversation. When in one minute time, and you keep on typing and press enter, it will be in point form. I guess, so that it will be easier to read and neat. For me, i think this is kinda creative idea. Also i think the avatar box is a bit bigger than the previous ones.

EDITED - One more thing i noticed about this new WLM, is that you can set your own sound to be heard on another person's computer. Example, if the A is using the new WLM, then he sets his sound when he onlines to a car revving sound, then when B is using the new WLM and when A logs in, B can hear the sound A chooses, the car revving sound. So now B knows who had onlined.

Well that was my review of the NEW WLM. I think there's room of improvement, and i think this is one of the best WLM versions ever!

So. . .

Tomorrow's camp. I don't know why, i waited for like 2 months for this camp, and now i don't feel all excited bout it. Oh! I'm talking bout Cun Camp by the way, the second one. Right now, i'm in front of my pc, watching Youtube, believe it or not! Seems like there's just few hours left for me to get my stuffs ready, and yet i'm still awake. Chances are, i'm not sleeping tonight. Let me share something, whenever, i'm going for some BIG thing, i wont get much sleep. I don't mind if i have few hours of sleep, but the irratating thing is, when i WANT to sleep, and when i CANNOT sleep. I always have insomnia (i think), where i cant sleep. I had many times. The feeling is that, you at your bed, staring at the ceiling, no matter where you turn to, you still wont be able to sleep. This goes on for hours. Then came the insomnia part. Sometimes i think i able to sleep, then for no reason, i just open my eyes, and try to sleep again, and then i wake up again. The whole process is such an irratating thing to do, man.

Anyway, i was browsing through Youtube, and found some good songs. These songs were like more than 10 years before i was born, but yet, they're awesome, i tell you! Just hear first.

KC & The SunShine Band - That's The Way I Like It (1974)

Kool and The Gang - Ladies' Night (1979)

If you're a bassist, or even a musician, you would realised both bassist playing in both of the songs, are super powderful! They gave the groove, the funk and the . . . (i got no words to explain the awesomeness) of the music!

Sergio Mendes & Brasil 88 - Tiro Cruzado and The Real Thing

I like how the singers sang in so harmonious. For the first song, i dont really know much what's the song bout, but the second song is the one i like. It's written by Stevie Wonder. Just nice, man the songs. These days some artist make music just for the sake of money, popular and so on. They no longer know what is music about.

Anyway, i just pawned Meng Xian. He thinks he's cleaver and brave. Check out the screenshot below.

Nevermind cancel that, he deleted the comments, you should have seen that, hahaha!

Right now, i want to add and remove songs from my MP3 Player, then clean my bag, then slowly pack my stuffs. Won't be onlining for bout 3 dayslah.

Kulit Baru

So i've changed my skin, justlah you know since Christmas is so near, so just changelah. I couldnt find anything else to my liking, so i had to choose this one. Waitlah, if there's much nicer one then i'll go for it. It looks more of Chinese New Year-ish theme, rather than Christmas.

It's Here!

Oh, man i can believe that it's just 22 days more to Christmas, man. You know how the feeling, that you wait for one whole year, and then when December comes, it has some Christmasy feeling. Anyway, i have been busy this whole week, so many things to do. Oh! i went to my uncle's funeral yesterday. He passed away last Sunday. Well, i didnt actually went, but i sent my dad to his sister's house at Sri Kembangan. Then i went to Jusco, hang out myself there, window shopping. It's a new mall over there, i see that there's many new shops there compare to last time, but very less people. Then i went over to Jusco, and saw all the Christmas ornaments. Cunlah, but too bad my dad wont buy it. He will use the old ones as long as they can be use, then it's ok.

I'm going to ask him to put up the Christmas tree today, if i manage to do so, then ill snap a picture and upload it here.

Just To Share

I want to share a story with y'all. Story bout my family, well not my family as in my family, but relatives actually.

One of my uncle had been admitted to Hospital recently. He's diagnosed with many sickness, i don't know what sickness he has, but i think he has cancer as well. Recently he went through operation, where some of his tissue had to cut off, i think because the cancer spread there. Wanna know what's the reason, of his sickness? He drinks and smokes!

Just to give y'all some info, my relatives consumes alcohol stuffs all the time, especially during Christmas, Deepavalli, Chinese New Year (despite it got nothing to do with them) and other time when they can get together. Not only men, but also women as well who participate. I used to remember, that during when i'm small, i used to go to my relatives (father's side) house, when Christimas, or during other normal times. Then after that, for some period of time, we stopped going there. I guess, it's cause my mother is afraid that we (me and my brother) might get influenced by them. One of my cousin, in his 30s is also heavy smoker, and he has 2 childrens. So yea. My dad on the other hand, well i can say, i thank God for my dad. He don't smoke or drink at all. So yea, i thank God for him. There were times, when we go to my relative's house, then they force my dad to drink, but he drinks bout 1 or 1/2 cans, then finish, that's it.

Just few days ago, i went to Sunway Pyramid, and hanging out at Starbucks (note, hanging out, not drinking anything) and i saw few women were smoking cigarette there. Time has moved on, where these days, woman also started smoking. I have a friend, female friend who smokes cigarette. She told me, that smoking cigarettes will make a girl more beautiful. Kinda silly, right?
Anyway, when i was walking to the parking lot, i saw some people were entering clubs. Then i passed by this tent where there had been some activities went on, a while ago, and i can smell the beer smell. When i was eating today, i saw this magazine, which the magazine held a party, some ladie's night out, and put the motto there "babes, booze and (something which i forget).

I know it's cool to smoke cigarette and drink beer, but in the end, what's the point? Others do that too, they cool, too right? So what makes you more cooler than them? Lots of indian lorry drivers also drink beer, so they are cool too, right, and since they drink more, i guess they must be much more cooler than you? Look, i'm not showing some "holy" thing here, or boasting or even "hitting" anyone here, but common sense teaches us, than beer and cigarettes are harmful to our body, so why do it? If you happen to be my friend, and reading these, you got to know that you're precious not only to me, but to everyone around you, so getting yourself into things like this, is not something good for us.

I know my blog post, wont affect much of what you're doing, but i just hope that you will know the consequences of drinking beer and smoking cigarette. Below is a video, which i hope y'all will see, how a drunk drive spoiled a girl's life.

Me-lvin

P.S. Just for your info, this is not my first uncle who suffered because of drinking, but there were others too. One or two were dead, and the rest is in sickness now. The uncle which i blogged bout, has bout 3 days or so to live, he's in critical condition.

Update

Well not really, nothing much to update actually. My memory card reader is missing, so i cant upload any pictures, and nothing much is happening as well. Anyway, when i was reading blogs, i came upon someone's, Shin Wei. I saw this Christian comic scripts, which really speaks about lots of things we're worrying about. As Christians, we ought to know that God is there, all the time and He's listening to us, but yet we don't talk or share our problems with Him.

Hey Guys

Hey, im back. . . for a while. Well, my internet connection had been cut, and now all the bills are paid, and the connection is still cut!

Anyway, this week had been quite hard for me. The job at Maxis, i had to decline, due to some reasons, just ask melah, and ill tell why. So i called Media Monitors, the company i used to work before, and they told that, i cant rejoin the training, so right now, im still thinking if i REALLY should start work, or go to college.

Right now, im at the cybercafe, beside me is my brother, in front me is a nigerian i think, who is mad, cause his com just shuts down, so all his data missing. A song by Akon is played over and over again, by the cybercafe assistant, and sounds of racing car, from some malay guys com.

Today, i went to Port Klang with Joel, yea my old friend, you can see his picture at below this post. He came all the way from Seremban to change his tyres and rims. So i tagged along with himlah. Manage to see his dad, and talked to him. Oh! still remember the futsal competition i went few months back? His dad was one of the person in charge and he told me, that next year, there will another competition, but before then there will be badminton competition. Girls also able to join this time. So it's quite cool!

Anyway got to go now, i left another 5 minutes or so.

Just a short update

Ok, i've just "tambah"ed my time. Yea, my internet connection, had been cut, cause of late payment. Anyway, i got 2 interviews this week. Both at same location, but different places and different day and time. Tomorrow's interview is with Maxis, and the day after that is with AIG. Please pray so that, by God's will i'll be able to get any one of this jobslah.

Pretty noisy in here (cyber-cafe). I used to remember hanging out at this place for hours, after school during primary and secondary school. It used to be my second home. Well, not this cyber-cafe particulary. Used to spent half my life at cyber-cafe, my money. Always from school, go back, change and then come back to cyber-cafe. Any money i get from parents, goes to cc (Cyber-cafe, but we told our parents, cc is Computer Class) hahaha. Anyway, no updates for the time being, but i hope that, i'll get back my connection soon. FUH! Life's quite hard without the internet, want to blog, check emails, downloads, chat and read paper all disturbed.

Catching Up With Friends

Hmm~ these days, it's hard to think of a good post titlelah, seems like every ideas ran out, or it's taken by someone.

Alright, on Wednesday was one of the happiest and also, a good day for me as I'll be meeting up with two friends. At 12pm, i was suppose to meet up with my old friend, Joel Christopher John. Just a little intro bout him, we were friends ever since primary school most probably around Standard 3, which is in 1997. Then he brought me to his church, Grace Church which is one at Shah Alam area, and another one is at Alam Megah, which is at the shop lots, near the SMK. Alam Megah school. Both my brother and i soon, left after some of the people back in home church complained bout it. Then he left us, to stay in Nilai around Standard 6. Over the years, i tried to contact him, but it is futile (HAH! i use big word). Then at one time, during i was in Form 2, or Form 3, i got his number from another friend who goes same church as him, and called him up. But somehow that number lost after few days. So how did i met him?

Remember the futsal post? it's just few post back. When i went there to play, i saw his dad over there. It's hard to believe that, after all these years, he still looks the same. I thought to myself, that I'll go and ask his dad, where and how is he now. But, the bak kut teh, pulled me away, so therefore i didn't manage to ask him. Few days later, i went through Friendster, and searched for him, and it's futile. Seems like he didn't have a Friendster account. Then i searched through his church, then i saw some of the people, which i knew back when i was in that church. I didn't give up, i was stubborn, i still search. Then finally, i gave up. I message one of my friend, which is my schoolmate bout Joel, hoping he will reply, he didnt. Then i went through his contacts, and add this guy, because his name was |JC| The. I think it was suppose to be The |JC|. So it could be The Joel Christopher. The problem is, his Friendster profile is private, and it's a risk hoping. So i messaged him, and added him. Few days later i got a email from Friendster, saying that i got his message from |JC| The. I opened it, and was shocked to find that . . .

. . .

It's . . .HIM!!! (TEN TEN . . TEN (suspense music)) dramatic

So we chatlah through Friendster. Then one fine day, he told that he'll be coming from Seremban to Sunway Pyramid, and thought of hanging outlah. So i agreed. On that day, i met him up at TGV, with another 2 of his friends. He looks different, but still looks same. As in, his spike as from last time, as i can remember, and he's still tall as last time. He said i look different, then i said he look different. I tell you guy something, my looks from primary school till now, don't change much. Of course back in those days i was coMEL and now, ehem ehem*. Anyway, this is Joel. . .

Actually back in those day, there were 3 of us. Joel, myself and another guy Kenny. But Kenny and i were'nt close like in primary school, because he went to different school. I called him to come, but seems like he has much more important stuff to do.

So after ordering the movie ticket (which Joel actually belanja me), they were going for lunch, so i ikut only. Then manatau, come to Secret's Recipe. DIE!!! So in order, to create an image that i have money, i decided to order a cake and RO water. One of them ordered spaghetti, another one some weird noodles and Joel ordered this roast chicken which looks super delicious. So while eating, i soal-siasat him, on how thing been after this whole long years. Currently he's working in Air- Asia (you can see the picture above) as an Air-Steward. He told me, bout his job. Like, the working hours, sometimes it's 3AM to 3PM. He drives from Seremban (his home), to LCCT and board the plane. I watch this show, AirCrash Investigation at National Geography, and ask him questions related to the show. Like has the plane has been emergency landing, or engine failure and so onlah. He shared some of his experience like. . . There's one time when he was in the plane, and then this whole group of birds flew inside the engine, and got sliced just like a mince meat, and it cause the whole plane to be unstable. Then there one was time, when the pilot was flying the plane, and saw something black coming towards the plane. It was a bird, it came and "whacked" at the plane's windscreen. Then, another time, the plane had to evacuated, and it took the whole crew 78 seconds to evacuate. So manylah interesting stories he told. Oh! and there's one, where this happened at the airport, where in the movies you see this guy driving the lorry thing? he fell of it, and the whole lorry thing went on top of his legs, and it became like roti canai. He also shared about his interview, that they ask him to walk, a catwalk. He told that, AirAsia also does modelling, and those AirAsia advertisement you see in the papers are the AirAsia models, and that if they called him for modelling, he would go for it.

During our primary school days, we wanted to form a band. I still remember, that he will be the guitarist, Kenny is the pianist and i am the drummer. The band's name also taken from our initial, i cant remember the name though. Surprising, Joel and i have some things in common. Like he plays the bass guitar. He has in own band during the college days. They performed for Jaclyn Victor, and they came out in the news paper too. Also, he drives a Wira, hahaha. So we did talk a lot bout cars, too. The reason why he came here is because he had 3 days off, on the 7th, 8th and the 9th. Then i asked him what movie, we're watching, and he told, " Flight Of The Living Dead: Outbreak On A Plane". DIE! that's what i thought to myself. I had never watched horror in cinemas, and i never intend to watch one. Since the tickets were bought, so it's hard for me to say no or run away. So i watchlah. Surprising the movie was more to comedy, than horror. I laughed a lot during that movie. After the movie, i teman him go to Summit and buy DVDs, his friends went back already. At the Sunway parking lot, i drove my car and park next to his, and we open the bonnet, to check out what's unda tha hood!

So we went and scouting for DVDs. After he bought few, we then departed. It was a sad momentlah, because you know after all these years, i got to see him finally, and now he's going back, so yea, but i know that we will meet next time, he invited me, for his 21st Birthday next year, so yea it's all good. Then i drove to Alam Megah, and went to church. Came back from church bout 11:15pm and went to lepak with another friend of mine, Fareedz who came all the way from Kelantan. This is him. . .

I knew him back in Form 6 time. He came all the to Kelantan to continue study here. But he went back, after he got an offer from Politeknik. I didn't see him maybe like in 2 or 2.5 months. Actually when the first time, i got my car, he's the one who thought me to drive stick. So i went with him for late night drink at the gerai near my place. We talk bout things like how his studies, what's he up to, how was his car and so onlah. Kinda feel bad though, cause each time it's me who calls him come Shah Alam, instead of me going to his place, i mean i don't know anyone who lives at Kelantan and his brother in law is staying at Putra Heights, so easylah for him, got place to stay and eat. So we lepak till 12 something, then it's time for bubye.

Overall, i really had fun this day. It's not often you meet up with old friends and catching up to them. It was all good, and i thank God for it. Let this be update for the next 1 week, just in case i didn't update this blog.

HAH! Nak Update!

Sorry to all those who came here and saw no updates. Been really busy these days, so therefore very rare time available for an update. Since people asking for update, i give you an update! I'll update it randomlylah, whichever i remember, then ill state it downlah.

Firstly, after so long, finally I've manage to feed my temptations. It's been long time since i last played futsal/football. Went for futsal today and had a good time there. Brings me back about 3 weeks back, when we entered then Shah Alam Churches Futsal Competition. We didnt win, but i can say for myself, i had lots of fun. It was my first futsal competition ever, and yea i did have shaky knees. Not so surprising i saw my ex-church members there. Not 1 church or 3 church, but 2 church. One if from CDM (Church of Divine Mercy). I've known them, since like i was born. Another church is Grace Church. I went to Grace church when i was in Standard 4 or Standard 5. When i first saw them, i really had some difficult moments, cause i knew that they were quite good. Well of courselah, they're good, since they dump the lousy ones one side. Both my brother and i played with them during our primary school days. I can tell you we didn't have any fun at all. I mean, we walk all the way from our house bring those coca-cola bottle filled with ice-water and then go to the field, but most of the time, we ended at the sitting area instead of field.
So yea back to the futsal competition, i met many people including my old time best friend's dad. Wow! it's like 8 years wei, since i saw him. After futsal, we went for bak kut teh session, with some of the church members. It was a good time spent, as it was my second time in life eating bak kut teh, and first time eating with church members.

While i was browsing through Friendster, i saw this profile of this Indian guy. Seriously, he looks like SNOOP DOGG, wei!!!

SEE!!!! I told you guys right!!! Dee-Ooh-Double-Gee. Now the real Snoop.

Talking bout similarity in faces, i started to think this actor is a REAL Actor!

Hahahaha, he looks like black Michael Jackson. Seriously though, many people might not know who is this actor, or which movie he appeared in. His name is Edward Moss, and i tell you, he's wicked, wei! Below some of example of movie he acted in.

Oklah, maybe you're unable to see nicely in this video. The video below can show a bit of him.

He's superblah! hahaha. Oh! and today when i went to nearby mamak near my place, Barjanah. I saw this waiter from India who looks a bit like Will.I.Am. Hahahaha serious! Don't believe, come and talk a looklah.

For the last 30 days, i didn't really go out and buy much food from Ramadan Bazaar. I remember, those days when I'm small, i always ask my dad to buy jelly (agar-agar) and kuih jagung (it's a kuih with some corn in it). I used to enjoy those a lot. Just this recent years, the quality of the food started to drop. They become so awfully sweet, and the jellys always breaks when you bring it home. They are not like what they used to be. But i did went out to do my "last minute shopping" 2 days before Raya. I bought, jelly (which i didn't get to enjoy, because they had no taste, and squashed), Ayam Percik, Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah, Cendol Durian and Kebab Roti Pita. Kinda jealous, because other places got different foods i never tasted before, such as Ayam Golek and so on. It's kinda wasted that i didn't take any pictures. Have to wait, one whole year againlah. . .

Went for New Tribes Mission Conference (NTM) 1 week back. It was a real eye-opener for me. I mean, all this time, you hear bout missionary, going somewhere and preach the gospel. It sounds all so . . . simple and easy. But when i went to NTM, i realised, it's not as simple as what we hear. Interestingly, there was some pictures of the people there (some tribe), the countries they visited and they showed few pictures, of how they went and cut down this big gigantic trees in order to create a mini airstrip. My favourite speaker is Bob Kennell. He was so friendly, till I'm ashamed of myself. He came and say "Hi" and talk, and most importantly he SMILED at me. It's as if i came to his house or something. It teaches me to be friendly to people. Oh! and there was another speaker who's name is Doug, who looks like . . .

KANE!!! hahaha.

He's so tall, and he can speak in Bahasa Indonesia, which of course is similar to Bahasa Melayu. This missionaries spend not 1, not 5 years in the place they go to, but for a whopping 20 to 30 years at the there. I'm 20 this year, and i can say being 20 years is way long time. When i came to Life Chapel for the first and second day, and PJGH for the third and forth day, it was disappointing to see, none of Life Chapel and PJGH people there. It's so sad, that the event was held at their home church, and it takes so hard time for them to come. Ape belaku? No any teens or young adults at Life Chapel and PJGH? For the whole 4 days, most attendance were from SAGC. Though we have to travel there, we did, and as for me, i can say that each day being there, is awesome. On the last day, when PJGH was closing up, most people left, i had to talk to Bob Kennell. So i braved myself, and talked to him. I asked him, if he's willing to come next year, and he said that he would come, in April.

This days, I've been getting lots of encouragements from people to get a job. I've been searching, in fact, i applied some last night, yea last night at 12 something AM. So I'll wait for a reply. I got 1 call today, but i declined the job, as the work requires me to work on Saturdays. I don't regret it, in face, i saw many jobs available, which requires you to work 7 days a week, or even 5 days but with shifts, but i don't want to, because i want to find a job that will glorify God. That means, i must go to church on Saturday and Sunday, no matter what.

So yea, basically that's happened these past few weeks. I'll try to update both blogs, when i have the timelah. Thanks to those who asked me to update it, and constantly checking in here despite the long time, of no updates.

Missionary

So here i was in front of my pc, chatting with people, and reading some articles, when i heared a knock on my door. Normally (actually most of the time), i wont open the door, cause i dont know who's knocking, and it's been a family tradition to not open the door to anyone. So i stresslah, gotlah somebody want to kacau me this morning. I look through my window, and saw no any car(s) i recognize. So i kept quiet, again the same knock, then no more. Then i walked to the hall, and i saw someone pushed this small flier, i took it up and saw the title " Would You Like To Know More About The Bible". So i read it through, and saw this word "Jehova Witness". I think it's some kind of denomination, but i dont know if there's any in Shah Alam.

Then i looked down at my window, and saw one indian (or African American, but i'm sure he's indian, those high class type onelah), and another one is ang moh (white man). They two were talking, and then i saw one chinese guy with them, and another chinese guy walked down from the stairs leading to my house, with a small girl. They were talking something, and then they have some files in their hand. Later on i go back my pc, and then do my stuff, again im curious, so i go back and see what they up to. Then the chinese fellas all gone, but i saw one indian lady with another ang moh lady came. Then they walked pass my house.

It got me thinking, of this people would come from somewhere, just to pass around small fliers. I dont know if they targetted my house only or the whole entire neighbourhood. So yea, i guess this days we dont do much on evangelism, but we talk about how to bring people to church.

Heart Attack!

So there i was, sitting in front of my pc, after a long day's work. Got an sms, from Beans saying "Hey do u wan 2play futsal tmr? we not enough ppl.but need2pay rm7 la.if yes b at church at 830 la." So yea, i shockedlah. Let's flashback a little. The Christian churches in Shah Alam, will be having a futsal competition. It's between the Brethren, Catholic, Grace, Methodist and other churches. So there is 2 teams from our church participating, and we hope to win, but in the same time, have fellowship with them, and also try to show some good example.

Anyway, back to the shock part, yea i got a chance to play, but i'm very scared and nervous, as this will be my 1st futsal tournament (chehwah!). So yea, please do pray for our team, that we will win, hahaha. We representing Brethren assembly, so pray for us. Pray for the safety of the players, management, for patience, and also everyone have fun. Pray for me, so that i'll listen to my superior, takes this game seriously (as in not be playfullah), then pray so that my legs can move easily, pray for patience and also wisdom, pray for everythinglah, and lastly pray so that our testimony as brethren church will be witnessed by many.

Another 2 hours more to go. . . So take care, and bubye.

My Merdeka

Alright, this year's Merdeka was different, really different. For the first time after 20 year being born in this earth, i went for a countdown. Thanks to my church people, so now when people ask me, if i ever gone for a countdown, i can say "Yes i did". The countdown started by dinner at Kim Gary. I didn't eat anything, cause by seeing the place, i knew it's really expensive and i can't really afford it. Even toasts is about RM4++. So yea, it's my another first time to that place, but again didn't really enjoy much, because i didn't eat or drink and i was busy taking pictures.

Photobucket

Spotted a cockroach at Kim Gary.

After the dinner, we head off to the main stage, outside of the mall, to watch performance there. There was this band name "Nrocinu" performing. Their members are Roll Kamarul (guitar, vocals), Shah Sidious (guitar), Alan (bass) and Zali Deathstroke (drums) and they are famous from Batu Pahat. When we have arrived there, we were at the far back from the stage. I can't see anything, but see the colour of their musical instruments. The moment over there was so much funnier with the presence of David Lim and James. They kept on making all kinda jokes about the band. Many other funny things, also did the others did. Like one time, the MC said if he sings a song ,then it will be raining (hujan) - What he meant was, it's going to rain when he sings. But these guys went and shouted for Hujan (a band). They kept on shouting for Hujan. hahaha. So it was really funny. Come to think of it, we're the only group which creates lots of noise, over there. hahaha. But i think we did enjoy to their show. The vocalist keep on using the word "Gue" (which means me, or i). The tagline of the day is "Rock boleh rock, tapi biar aman".

The time of countdown came, i quickly whipped out my camera, and about to shoot some fireworks picture, but . . . . . . there wasn't any. WASTED! So with disappointing heart, we went away. Even at my place in Alam Megah, also got fireworkslah. Then we head back to Sunway Pyramid, deciding where and what should we do, because it's traffic jam out there. So we walked around Pyramid, and ended up at Uncle Lim's. Another place which i saw many people go, but its my first time. After a while there, we went back home.

Photobucket

Group Photo 1

Group Photo 2

Now the serious side. While we were coming back from the stage (where the performance from the band was), there were some indonesian people there. Actually more like Indon youths. They were wearing this funny clothing, which if I'm not wrong, is something My Chemical Romance would wear. NOT forgetting their "wings", yea some of them have wings, some with white wings, and others with black. Don't know if it's related with good or bad though. They were talking in some weird slang and wordslah. I know they are from Indonesia, because some of the words they use is Malay words. So yea, they went and making noise all around, thankfully they didn't create any havoc while they were there. Not only them, but there are others too who actually wore long white wicks, some with colourful. I don't know why they come for a Merdeka countdown for. Is it because they lack of attention and needs one at a crowded place, or were they came to appreciate Merdeka. Seeing all this makes me think, are we really Merdeka yet. . .

Anyway i end this post with a video from Youtube. I know it's actually a Deepavali ad, but still i think it's quite relevant with Merdeka.

P.S. Merdeka stands for Independence.
