We have had such a fun summer going to the beach this summer. Last year we didn't go much because of the gas prices being above $4.00. So this year we are catching up for lost time. This Monday we went and met up with friends at Corona Del Mar. We got there at noon and didn't leave until 9pm. The kids had such a great time digging in the sand and swimming. They loved to go out in the waves with inner tubes. Since Clark learned how to swim this summer he is really loving the new adventure of being a big boy! His inner tube would go right over the waves. I would occasionally look over and his head would be soaked from a wave along with a big smile. Rebekah kept herself busy playing with our friends baby Ryker. Whenever there is a baby around you can count on Rebekah to not be far away. We ended the day with cooking foil dinners in a fire pit. What a great day!

Pinwood Derby

Last Friday we went to the Ward Pinewood Derby. Bill helped all the kids make cars. The kids were very excited about this. Clark even said a prayer that he could win the race. Cory ended up winning three trophies, best in show, fastest car and a participation trophy. It was a great night for everyone.

Getting Started

Well, we will see if I can get this thing started up. I'd love to use this as a journeling tool to keep track of our crazy life and family. I'll let you know how this works out or better yet you can watch!!
