Τα άνθη της ακακίας δίνουν πολύ καλής ποιότητας ανθόμελο και πολλοί καταναλωτές το ζητούν με μανία. Επειδή το μέλι της ακακίας σε συνδυασμό με το μέλι τριφυλλιού και φακελωτής αποτελούν για μένα τουλάχιστον το κορυφαίο μέλι, αποφάσισα με δικές μου δαπάνες να προχωρήσω στη φύτευση 1300 δέντρων ακακίας (Robinia Pseudoacacia) και άλλων 350 δέντρων σοφόρας.
ΣοφόραΤα δέντρα τα παράγω ο ίδιος από σπόρους. Η σοφόρα ανθίζει από τον Ιούλιο μέχρι τον Σεπτέμβριο σε δύσκολη δηλαδή περίοδο για την μελισσοκομία στην περιοχή μου.
Άνθη σοφόραςThe last decade unfortunately some presumed adroit persons, after they had bought a chainsaw, attacked the trees and cut them brutally off. In my area, Platy Imathias, Greece, the majority of the trees that have been cut off illegally was the acacia (Robinia Pseudoacacia). Within a decade, 90% of the acacia trees were used for firewood.
The acacia flowers provide a very good quality honey and many of the consumers demand exactly that। Because the honey that is coming from the combination of acacia flowers, fourleaf clover and the phacelia tanacetifolia is at least for me the best honey, I have decided to proceed in planting 1300 acacia trees (Robinia Pseudoacacia) as well as 350 Sophora Japonica trees, for which all the expenses I will cover myself।
I raise the trees myself from seeds. The Sophora tree blooms from July until September, which is one of the most difficult time periods for Apiculture in my region.
