Ocean Friends

Hello! Here is a card I made using a fun set called Ocean Friends, designed by Kim Hughes, from Cornish Heritage Farms. The whimsical style is not my norm, but I really love her sets! I paper pieced the "friends" with Basic Grey Marrakech paper.

PTI March Guest Star Stamper Entries

I entered the March contest at PTI and here are my projects. My first is a scrapbook page I made about my son's gardening skills! I stamped lots of different flower stamps in many colors, cut them out and adhered to the page with dimensionals. Here is another view of the page.

I was inspired by Kristina's Werner card here. I used SU! Elegant Eggplant in craft so I could heat emboss with clear powder to give it a bit of oomph! It ended up being a good match to the plum pudding bitty dot paper. I couldn't not include the partial butterfly that I trimmed, so I put it on the inside.

With Sympathy

Unfortunately our next-door neighbor passed away recently, so I made his family a card. He was a wondeful man, always very friendly, and we will miss him. I hope that his family will find comfort in thinking that he is now reunited with his wife who passed away last summer.
