The Beach
Like our other trips to California we drove all night. It is nice because we are there first thing in the morning and for the most part the kids sleep on the way there. This time Mom, Grandma and Grandpa Tucker flew down so they didn't drive with us. Plus Nick and Kate left early and spent some time down with some of Nick's friends. So the drive was Chris, Shelena (Chris's girlfriend), Nathan, Tucker, Alex, Bobby, Kira, Colton, Kyler, Sharli and one of Sharli's friends. I stayed up most of the night and helped Dad drive down. Two days before we left for California my parents Van broke down and we had to rent a SVU. It was really nice. It had heated seats and was all leater. So back to the California trip. We got there around 5 in the morning. We drove around until we found a Mcdonalds. We had breakfast and decided to hit the beach before we went on the the cruise. The first thing we did was go out on the pier.
It was really cool we saw both seals, dolphines and sting rays.
I promise there is a sting ray in there its just really light.
People we also out there surfing.
Alex really likes to pose for picture. I think he is so cute. I actually think he is dancing.
This is Tucker, Colton and Alex showing us a manly pose.
After the pier we headed down to the beach. It was a really cloudy and overcast day. I am sure people thought we were wierd but we started to play in the water. We are from Utah anytime we go to the beach we have to play in the water even if it is fall.

The water was actually freezing. It actually cause all our lips to go Blue but it was so worth it to be at the beach in the water. You can't go to California and not play.
Yes even I played in the water. I had to take pictures because I didn't think Wayne would believe me. I think others have better picture of the beach trip but they haven't shared yet.
Alex did get out into the water with Kira but I think it was just to cold. I think he would rather sit and watch the boys get hit by the waves.

I haven't Posted in Forever
I am sorry I know I am really bad and need to update this a little more. I am going to post as much as I can. Our life is just not really exciting. Plus we have been really busy lately. I am going to start with the Cruise and the next couple days move forward. At least I will try. Starting Tuesday things are going to get a little busier because I start doing Taxes once a week for the United Way. It is a great program for the low income people and it is good for me to stay up on tax law. I took a full semester on taxes and its nice to stay up on it. I hope you guys enjoy the picture.

Alex Soccer Game
I just got back from Alex's soccer game. He did an amazing job. It is a wonderful feeling to watch these special needs kids play and interact together. Grandpa Austin, Kira, Bobby, Mom, Dad, Nate and Colton were all there. Here are a couple cute pictures we all took. he played really hard for a full hour and didn't want to quit. At the end of the game Alex was just to tired to walk. So Bobby carried Alex to the Dad's car. He is truly a special kid.

Governors Day
This weekend was drill and for drill it was the MI ball and Governors Day Parade. This is the first time in 5 years that Wayne has marched in the parade. Wayne says it was just as miserable as he remembers it being. Friday night was the ball and I got off work early to get ready and do my hair. Aunt Karlene did my hair this year again. Thank you so much for doing that Aunt Karlene. It really looked good but we didn't around to getting pictures this year. On our way to the ball we stopped at an accident that happened on the road in front of us. I heard the accident but didn't see it. Which I am thankful for. A truck was turned on its side. Wayne left to go help with it in his Class A's while I sat in the car waiting. Thank you to all who called and asked if I needed a ride home. I wore the same dress that I wore last year. Dinner was okay. If we weren't forced to be there I would say it wasn't worth the money we spent on it. But I must say I look great.

This morning I we left at 7:00 a.m. to make it up to U of U stadium. We took up Wayne's Mom with us. We ran into horrible road construction so it took forever to make it up there. You know Utah has two seasons really, Winter and road construction. Right now in Springville it feels like road construction will never end. We dropped Wayne off on the corner and then went to park. We made it to the stadium after a short hike and had an hour until we had to be seating in our seat to watch the parade. So we walked around and looked at the booths they had set up. Cindy found the coolest stickers for the car.
The Utah National Guard has a band that plays at military balls and events. They are really good and a lot of fun to listen to. We listened to them while we watched the guys line up.

The new Governor was at the parade, it was really cool to see him looking over our guys. My family calls me the paparazzi. So you will just have to deal if you don't like pictures because I take a lot of pictures. Our New Governor and General Tarbet (The Commander of the Utah National Guard):
The guys marched in and stood on the field for a long time. There was bunch of them that fainted. It was actually quite hot. I am proud to say that my husband was able to stand up the whole time without a fainting spell. There was a guy close to him that did go down. They had to bring in a stretcher and take him out. It was interesting to be above the guys and watch all the action. These two pictures you can play "Where is Wayne". If it takes you a while don't feel bad it took us a while to find him to take the picture.

They had a couple of helicopters and planes fly over head. It was all really cool. We think this will be our last Governors Day parade if we get accepted to medical school. So if you missed it this year because I happened not to tell you. Sorry but I hope the pictures make up for that.

MCAT Test Results
We got Wayne's MCAT test results today. He scored a 30 O. Which isn't as high as he was hoping for but what can you do. When you have two teeth that need a root canal and a cold. We are still going to apply to Medical School and we will see which schools will accept us. There has to be a school out there that would love to have a guy like my husband. We just have to keep praying and wait and see. I hate the waiting game but I have started to learn to accept it. It seem to be a theme in my life. You hurry up and then get to wait. The Army has started to teach me this well.

I know I know I dont post enough
I ask all who really are mad at me that I don't post enought forgiveness. I am going to do much better for the next week. I will try to get you all caught up on what is going on in our lives. But I am going to start with the good thing from today. It is my garden. We have been truely blessed with a bunch of fresh things out of our garden. I don't think I was born with my grandpa's green thumb but with having him around I think it makes my garden grow all the better. Today I was just complaining to them that I didn't have any tomatos ripe yet. So when I checked on the garden before I went inside amazingly I had a ripe tomatos. It is just a little cherry tomato but it is a tomato I grew. The plant is truely out of control. It is huge. When I get a chance I will try to post pictures of my tomato tree. Because it is truly a tree. If I have time tonight I will post again. But if not until tomorrow I love you all.
It looks funny but I promise it is a cherry tomato.
