H2H Challenge: Metals
While I was updating my Gypsy to add our awesome new Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, I was browsing the Heart to Heart Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is to incorporate something metal into your project. I had a pile of square scraps and a metal frame lying in front of me, so I figured I'd put together this simple card! My Gypsy still isn't finished updating...maybe I'll have to work on another H2H Challenge while I wait! :)

These cards were created using the new Wings papers. The vertical card uses papers and ribbon from the Wings Creative Basics pack. The stamp set is from the new Birthday Card Chatter set. On the horizontal card, the sentiment comes from the Thank You stamp set and the papers and card stock are from the Wings Level 2 pack. Inks are New England Ivy, Juniper, and Vineyard Berry.

August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
It's that time again! This month we are featuring the beautiful daisy stamp set, Something Splendid.
If you arrived here from Jen's blog, you're on the right track. If this is your first stop, enjoy the ride! The hop is a circle, so you'll know you're finished when you end back here again. :)
I made a card for this month's hop. August is the perfect month to pick someone to send an "out of the blue" card to! That's just what I'm going to do with this card I created:
I made a card for this month's hop. August is the perfect month to pick someone to send an "out of the blue" card to! That's just what I'm going to do with this card I created:
I used Twitterpated papers, sweet leaf & sorbet ink, and desert sand cardstock. The card recipe came from the Wishes book.
Now hop on to Melinda's blog to check out her creations with the August SOM! Have fun and don't forget to leave a comment before you go! :)

Valentine Pop-up Accordian Card
I created this card for my parents for Valentine's Day. My parents mean so much to me and I know they love my handmade cards, so I thought I'd make them something special! I found the tutorial on splitcoaststampers and fell in love with the design!
Inside says "THANKS for everything you do" and "You are loved" (all stamped). The small piece on the bottom right was used for my little valentine message.
Card created with Topstitch Level 2 Papers, Baby Pink and Heavenly Blue Ink, March Stamp of the Month A Little Everything stamp set, Sweet Love stamp set, Charmed stamp set, and the Exclusive Stamp set included with the Topstitch Workshop on the Go.

Eight Easy Cards!
My friend, Dana Swadling, created the cutting guide and samples to make similar cards shown. With her cutting guide, you will make two of each card design from less than three pieces of paper! If these cards look like something you'd like to make, let me know! We can schedule a workshop at your house with a few friends and make these cards (with any paper you like for any occasion)!

Baby Tri-fold Shutter Card
I love this card! I found the tutorial on splitcoaststampers.com and love the way it turned out!! I used Animal Cookies paper, two different baby stamp sets, buttons, ribbon, and pins. I plan to write my own little note on a small piece of white paper and attach to the center of the card. I can't wait to give it away to a special little nephew coming soon!! :)

Wow! Similar but Different Cards
These cards were made from the Just Because Workshop Card 4 layout (from the new Wishes book). I used Animal Cookies Level 2 and creative basics paper, as well as the Emporium creative basics. I think it's amazing how different a card can look with different stamps and papers, even though it's the same layout.
