Anouncing Baby #3

Yes, we are expecting our third sometime around the end of June. I haven't been to the doctor so we will see if my guess is even close. I think I have just hit my three month mark and I am feeling well. We told Celie on Christmas morning about the new baby coming . We were so excited to tell her. She said (like she always says when we talk about babies), "I want this many babies!" (holding up her ten fingers). I told her that when she is a mommy she can have that many. So, naturally she wants to be a mommy right now. Celie wants this baby to be a girl. Marty and I would be thrilled with either. Jack doesn't really catch on to anything yet. We are happy and grateful that all is well with the pregnancy. I am tired a lot, but sweet Celie takes care of everything for me so I can rest in the afternoon :) Ok, Marty does all the cooking a cleaning so I can rest and play with the kids all day. What a guy!

Christmas Painting

So on Christmas Eve Marty and I painted our kitchen. It was fun at first and then not so much. Kids did surprisingly well during the whole episode.

First picture is the light tan that it was. Second is the gray primmer suggested to help the red pop and so we only have to use one or two coats of the red instead of 4 or 5. Third picture is the red. I won't be offended if y'all don't like it, but I love it. It is the perfect red that I was looking for. It is beautiful in the sun light and in the indoor lighting in the evening. It makes the kitchen much more warm and welcoming. It makes me want to paint the whole house. What a difference!

It is still a mess, but you can get the picture! That free furniture looks nice against the red, huh?

Let me know what you think?

Family Portraits 2007

I hope you like these family portraits. Please feel free to order from me any that you would like. I'll even send them to your house and purchase them. Ok, so it is just from Walmart, but hey at least they are visible. love you all.

Christmas Joy

Here are the presents Celie made for all you Grandparents. She loved making them and hopes you like them. Merry Christmas.

Celie's preschool nativity play. She was the inn keeper. Her line: "I'm sorry, there's no room in the inn, but you can stay in the stable." She was grumpy the whole time. Look at her forced smile in the middle picture. I think everyone was fighting over baby Jesus. They are all so cute.

Christmas Sunday in his nice suite . . . asleep.

Funny Frases

When Marty was in the garage working, Celie was bored and probably bothering him. He said to her, "How about you go find something else to do?" Celie asked what she could go do. He replied "Just use your imagination."

So off Celie went, into the house. She came back ten minutes later with a dissapointed and frusterated look on her face and said to Dad, "Daddy I can't find my imagination!"

Ha ha ha. I hope you had a good laugh like we did.

Christmas Community Party

This little party was held on Dec. 1st. They had face painting, a dj, hot chocolate and a cookie, and last, but not least, snow!! Ok, so it really isn't snow; it's ice chips. I love how the snow is laid in perfect squares. It was so slippery and I had Celie in the wrong outfit. Oh well. I can go buy new white tights. She was so funny to watch. It makes me miss the real snow at home.

Celie sat on Santa's lap with out a blink. She was excited about it. Aren't we cute?

Dancing to the DJ's odd music and listening to his lame jokes.

These next three pictures I took one right after the other. Celie's neighborhood and church friend, Ava, would fall; then Celie, then they both fell. It was very funny.

See, she loves the snow!

I caught this one just as she was falling. I know, it is a good shot. She didn't mind falling down. It was part of the fun.

Another mid-fall. I am getting good with the camera.

Merry Christmas family and friends!!

Preeschool at My House

Here is Celie's preschool group (missing on girl), Honeybee's. They have so much fun. I really enjoy teaching them. They enjoy the little things - I learn a lot from them.

These are pictures of them playing in our playroom (supposed to be formal dining room).

Isn't her smile to die for!!

I hope his mother doesn't mind. Oh, wait. I think he is cooking the dog on the burners.

Grandfather Clock

This is our $20 grandfather clock that we got at our community garage sale! We are obviously proud and excited to have a piece of wood furniture in our home. Celie is excited too. No, it doesn't work, but we'll work on that in the near future. I have decided to call it "Robby" in honor of my dear Grandfather. (I hope you don't mind)

Thanksgiving

Celie drew a picture on her magnidoodle and it just so happened to look like a cooked turkey! I had to take a picture. See if you can see what I see (that's a mouthful of a sentence!).

For Thanksgiving dinner we got together with four other families from our church ward. We met in the dance studio that I teach in. As you can see from the pictures, Julianne decorated it beautifully! It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it even though we weren't with family.
