Baseball with dad

Quinn has loved playing baseball. He's pretty good at hitting the ball with bat. This particular day, ben and quinn played for over an hour! I'm thinking tee ball it's in our future!

Wrestling with dad

The boys had a blast climbing all over daddy. I'm thinking Jace would be good at mutton busting. He was hanging on for dear life! It was hilarious!

Jace is 1!!

My little baby is 1! This last year flew by! These pictures are actually from Quinn's party. I think the others must have got deleted somehow. bummer. He loved the cake just as much the second time around.
Jace really is my sweet boy. He often comes up to me and rests his head on my shoulder. He's a snuggler.
He started walking a week before his birthday. He is now trying to run....not very successfully though.
He says daddy and stop it.
He loves to play with balls.
He loves it when Quinn lets him play with him.
and he LOVES to eat! He weighed 26lbs at his 1 year appointment.
He finally started sleeping through the night. (hallelujah!)
When he hears the garage door open, he "runs" to go see daddy.

the cupcakes and decorations!

I didn't really decorate too much. Just a cute little banner.

My good friend Lindsey made these awesome Tow Mater cupcakes. They were a hit with all the kids and they tasted delicious too!

Quinn is 3!!

Quinn turned 3 on March 14th! It's a miracle we have all survived!
I orginally thought that we wouldn't really do an official birthday party, but I figured since we don't have family around that I would do it anyway. It was totally for me. Quinn had really no clue what was going on till it actually happened. I kept things simple. We did a pinata. Which as you can see in the picture, it's totally ghetto. A pinata at Walmart was 20 BUCKS!!! Thanks but no thanks.
The brown bags worked great. I saved money and the kids could have cared less! Then we had cake and ice cream and opened presents.
The BEST part was when we sang happy birthday to Quinn. He just BEAMED! He loved the attention and thought it was so cool that everyone was singing to him. It made the whole thing worth it.

FYI: at his 3 year appointment he weighed 36 pounds.
