Having been born and raised in Vegas it holds a really special place in my heart! Since I have been away from home I have found that whenever I meet people from Vegas... I tend to cling to them! People from vegas know what's up... we are all the same.
My BROTHERS! Talk about the best things to ever happen to me! NOTHING like walking in the door to my house and hugging them. Seeing Mom and Dad couldn't be better either. I think my favorite thing about going home is when my family is together and we get going... I mean we start talking about something and it is like a snowball rolling down a mountain. It starts off as even conversation then someone starts cracking jokes then we hit the real funny stuff and everyone is laughing and then Dad gets annoyed with the amount of laughter or Mom thinks its too loud and it gets better! The old stories start coming out, usually begins with something one of us did over the weekend and then Mom relates it to her hilarious childhood and then we get to the good stuff...Dad talking about RIGBY! It may seem weird... but these are the moments I live for and the reason that I go home! Words cant even describe how great these times are when the WHOLE family is together! My cousins know what I'm talking about. Good times.
Reese turned 22 this weekend! For those of you who don't really know what is going on with this boy... I'll give you the down low. He lives in Alpine Village (apartments here in Provo) and so does my friend Christina Christiansen. Her and I have a class together this semester (my favorite class for sure!) and one day she decided to set up Reese and I. We ended up going out and ever since then we haven't missed a day of seeing each other! It's really convenient that we are both from Vegas and that we share a mutual appreciation for that place. It's kind of funny since I wasn't really expecting that to happen but I am SO happy it did! People say that timing is everything and in most cases, especially this one, I think that is true. I haven't been this happy in a really long time! On a scale of 1 to wakeboarding... he falls somewhere around chocolate chip cookies... hahaha
So all in all, another great weekend at home... VEGAS BABY!

Karl Malone?
I went to the Jazz vs. Suns game last week and got hooked up with some awesome tickets...! So I am sitting next to this lady who is a ultra-super Jazz fan and she pointed out to me that Karl Malone was just a few rows down from us. I smiled and asked her who that was?
By the look on her face I could tell she would have preferred my seat to be empty.
And I didn't even know it was with a K until I typed it in on Google 10 minutes ago.
So I would like to formally apologize to Karl... for missing your epic NBA career. I acknowledge that you were inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010, that you have the most free throws attempted and made in NBA history, that you won Olympic gold medals in 1992 and 1996, won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award twice, and that you were voted an All-Star 14 times. Please excuse my ignorance during my early years, when I was 5 I really had a hard time keeping all you players straight. Michael Jordan was enough for me to follow... I couldn't really get past the fact that I thought he was made out of chocolate, but once I established that I really got into the NBA spirit. Anyways, thank you for showing mercy on me Karl.

YES
For those of you who know me really well... you'd be interested to know that I finally got a flower from a boy! It was even my favorite color, he's on top of his game.
