Fourth of July

John's college roommate Josh, his wife Amanda, and their two boys came into town for the Fourth of July.  We had so much fun with them and all of our family as we celebrated the USA's independence.  We enjoyed a parade, swam, had a big barbeque, and watched fireworks.  Such a great time.  Happy 4th!!!

These two were kinda inseparable.  Budding romance?  All four parents give two thumbs up! Arranged marriage was discussed. :)

Ready for fireworks!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Elyse!

We celebrated our niece's third birthday summer style!  Watermelon. Strawberries. Popsicles. An awesome water slide.  Yummy lunch.  Gorgeous cake.  It was a perfect day for such a sweet little girl.  Happy birthday Elyse.  We love you!

How are you three already sweet girl?!?! Growing so fast.

Father's Day 2014

When it comes to Dad's we are blessed beyond measure. The three men in our lives exhibit all of the  qualities a Dad should possess.  They are loving, strong, supportive, hard working, fun, protective, and considerate.  Thank you John, George, and Dad for demonstrating to our kids exactly what a Father should be.  We love you all!

We love you John, to the moon and back!

Ready for Retirement

My Mom said goodbye to her final class this year.  This lady started teaching at age 22.  Over her career, she helped shape literally hundreds of kiddos lives.  She taught in the same school for the last 17 years.  Our family calls her a local celebrity because wherever we go she is stopped by former students or parents of former students.  It is such a testament to what an awesome teacher she was.  At the end of the school year, we celebrated my Mom's career with coworkers and family.  We toasted to her successes and laughed about the struggles.  We are so proud of you Mom.  Congratulations on an amazing teaching career.  We wish you the absolute best in this next phase of life.  We love you!

Last Day of School 2014

These two had an amazing year at school.  They made great friends.  They had fantastic teachers.  They grew and learned so much.  We are so proud of you George and Clara!
