Thankful for our boys!
When I have been telling people I feel like I'm looking at Jonah when I look at little Levi, I'm not lying. Check out the pictures below. CRAZY! Can you guess who is who?

Happy Autumn... or Winter?
We were loving the fall...until we got 2 somewhat big snows! I even had a snow day today from school. Here are some pictures of our Halloween celebrations and a few other random pictures. The annual scavenger hunt was awesome as always....the twist was that this year the costume theme was 80's entertainment. Lots of Ghostbusters came out! Everyone looked great. Inspector Gadget won the costume contest!
Here's a video first of Jonah singing and signing one of his favorite songs from music class :)

2 Months and Counting...
The past few weeks have been a blur - an exciting blur - but just went by way too fast. I can't believe that I go back to work this week. I'm sure once I get into the routine it will be fine, but right now the idea of leaving my little Levi is so heartbreaking! We've had a busy fall with lots of visitors and adventures. The highlight was definitely seeing Jonah interact with his cousin Sami. We haven't seen her in a year and she is no longer a baby... she's now a fun playmate for Jonah! We took lots of fun pictures with her and Aunt Jayme even took a video of them having some fun. I also put a video from the other day when Jonah was trying to help Levi get to sleep. Enjoy :) We have been doing lots of fun "fall stuff" and can't wait for Halloween!

Time is Flying...
Here is the latest slideshow of pictures.... I admit that already I'm not as good at taking pictures with Levi as I was with Jonah... but we did get some professional photos taken this time. The mom of one of my students from last year did TWO newborn shoots with us. At the first, she came to our house when Levi was 3 days old. Then I went to her house when he was 2 weeks old. He is growing so quickly!
Other photos: I went in to visit my students with the boys, and the class threw us a baby shower! It was so cute. Jonah LOVED seeing all the big kids, and they made him feel like a big 2nd grader. We had a blast. Also, Jonah started preschool, just 2 mornings a week. He is adapting to it quite well and we are all really happy about it. It's at a local temple, so he is getting a little Jewish education too. The other day when I gave him breakfast he said, "but we didn't say the ha-motzi!" Too funny!
We took our first family overnight in Colorado Springs to see the largest hot air balloon festival in Colorado. It was awesome! Jonah loved it... and Levi slept :) We stopped at Garden of the Gods for a beautiful walk, and of course I visited Dunkin Donuts TWICE!
The next day we dropped Jonah off for a cousins' sleepover at Leah's house and we took Levi to his first Phish show. He did great and didn't even really mind the headphones I made him wear! He slept through the whole thing other than waking up once to eat. What a champ!
Other firsts: Jonah went bowling for the first time and to the dentist. Very exciting stuff....
But nothing compares to celebrating his birthday for 3 days in a row... we spent his actual birthday in Boulder where we went to a street fair and out to lunch, and then home for an ice cream cake after dinner. The next day Jonah invited all of his friends over for a pizza party. The kids had a blast and Jonah received his new prized possession: a doctor's kit. He has been playing with it NONSTOP ever since. Daniel has pretended to have every ailment under the sun. It's hysterical! The following day, Jonah got to celebrate his birthday again in his preschool class. Hello, sweet tooth! Enjoy the slideshow :) If you want to view it larger, you can move your mouse onto the slideshow and then click on the rectangle at the bottom right.

Loving Little Levi!
Here are some pictures of our life so far with Levi. We are having a blast with him - and Jonah is adjusting pretty well. He wants to help take care of Levi and is so gentle with him! Levi is recovering after his bris and enjoying lots of attention from all 4 of his grandparents. He looks so much like Jonah did as a newborn! We'll see if they really wind up resembling each other or not. We have gotten out of the house a couple of times, and I included some photos from our music class Friday morning. Of course at a week old, Levi is only sleeping for a few hours at a time overnight... so we are tired, but happy!

June and July
I have finally stopped crying about the fact that in a computer transfer, I lost a ton of pictures, starting from my birthday and going through almost all of July. Here are the pictures from the past month or two that we didn't lose... and thankfully I was able to get a couple of pictures from Jill from my birthday/blessing way and a few from Jessica from her visit. I was so lucky to have 2 wonderful friends visit from NY in the same month! Jess came with her mom and kids and spent a fun-filled weekend, and then Alyssa came also and I got to see her in between her concerts! There are a few random phone photos and other pictures... but stay tuned for a baby blog - hopefully VERY soon!

Late Spring and Early Summer!
After Jonah and Daniel got back from NJ, one of the first things we did was convince Jonah it was time to be a big boy and say goodbye to Abby, his beloved pacifier. He did relatively well with this (hindsight is wonderful!) and he has a fun train table to play with now :)
Lots of fun get togethers with friends and family - I think the captions explain everything for the most part! We've been keeping busy now that I'm on summer break - music and art classes are really fun, and Jonah is really enjoying doing more art at home, too. We've been finding a lot of fun things to do now that the weather is nice, like lots of outdoor concerts and fairs. Jonah loves to dance! Grandma Alice and Grandpa Bruce were here for a little visit and Jonah loved having them. They took him for a night so that Daniel and I could get away (we went to Blackhawk!) and then Jonah went on another overnight with his grandparents to Fort Collins which was a treat for ALL of us! We had a really nice Father's Day all back together in Tiny Town. This week and next are my last 2 weeks being off from school so we're trying to make the most of it by doing lots of fun things. I'm glad I'll only be going back in the afternoons so we'll still have some time for morning activities! Everything is going pretty well with my pregnancy - normal complaints that I won't bore you with here - it's hard to believe we only have 6 weeks or so until we're a family of 4!
More to come soon...

Jonah fun and some Girl Time!
As he gets older, Jonah is just more and more fun! We went for a few classes at Gymboree last month, and he just loved it there! Jonah played memory for the first time and that was a big hit, too. I read in a magazine at one point to pick up some paint swatches at Home Depot to play this easy game. What a great (and free) idea!
I included a couple of pictures from my kindergarten classes' Authors' Tea... we invited the parents in to hear the kids sing a few songs and share their writing. Always a big day at school! A big treat in Jonah's life recently was going to see Sesame Street Live with Kathy, Leah, Andrew, Zoe and Quinn. All the kids had a blast!
Straight from there I drove up to the mountains to meet my friends in Breckenridge for a girls' weekend. What a relaxing, amazing couple of days!
Next blog to come will be Jonah and Daniel's trip to NJ. I've been home alone since last Tuesday.... I can't wait for them to come back on Wednesday afternoon!

Lots of Blue and Lake Havasu
So we decided spur of the moment to find out our baby's sex at the ultrasound... and we're having another BOY!
Thought we'd take this fun picture while we were in Lake Havasu in order to share the news.
I have to admit that Daniel was psyched right away and for me it took a little while... but now I am getting really excited for Jonah to have a little brother!! If he is anything like Jonah I will be the luckiest mommy in the world :)
Below is a slideshow of some random pics from earlier this month and then our trip to Lake Havasu to visit my parents. Jonah had a blast with his Grandma Andrea and Grandpa Stan. He is still talking about everything we did. Daniel and I escaped for a night to Las Vegas. We stayed in this really cool hotel called Red Rock and I even won over $100 in roulette! Woo hoo!

Winter Fun
I have been absolutely terrible about taking pictures lately! I've got to get back into the swing of things. Here are a few though from the past couple of months... of course mostly of Jonah. He's so fun - just talking up a storm and doing great with the potty. Playdoh is his newest obsession, and I have to take some pictures of him playing with it!
