August and September...

August 11:  Levi turned one and had his first taste of sugar.  We think he likes it :)

July highlights...

Our first time camping with the kids was awesome other than Levi's lack of sleep...Jonah's first taste of s'mores was definitely a hit!

Cousin Jacob was amazing with the kids.  He led them in a talent/comedy show.  So cute!

June...

I am off from work the entire month of June, and we certainly filled it up! Before leaving on our trip, we did a bunch of fun things close to home... the picture highlights are Jonah all dressed up on his way to a Bar Mitzvah, writing his name for the first time, and having some fun with shaving cream while Levi was napping! I got to see my first Red Rocks music of the season: Michael Franti. Such a great show! Then we set out on our road trip to my parents with a stop in Zion. Managing the car ride and a visit to Zion while still trying to preserve nap time was no easy feat. I think we did a pretty good job all things considered! Zion was every bit as beautiful as I remembered... such an amazing part of our Earth! Although Arizona was HOT, we stayed cool in the pool and by heading to the lake a couple of times. Jonah also rode on the sand rail with Grandpa Stan, and we went to visit his friend who has parrots. Jonah loved spending time with his grandparents, and even got to bake his traditional cookies with Grandma Andrea on our last morning. I got home just in time to go to D's blessing way. So much baby love going on out here! Then we just went over to hang out with D' and her kids.... they have the most amazing new play area in their backyard, courtesy of her dad! Such talent, and hours of entertainment!

May....

Daniel and I got to escape to Blackhawk for a night. Thank you Alice and Bruce for babysitting overnight!!!! Such a gift. We had a beautiful blessing way for Katie and her 3rd baby - who is now here, a beautiful boy named Bodhi. At the end of the month we went to Jessica Ehrlich's wedding, which was gorgeous and a really fun night! And..... Levi laughs hysterically sometimes. Thought we'd share.
