HoPpY EASTER

I do have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how sweet Scarlett is with Sam. Before Sam was born Scarlett ruled the house so I was nervous that she was going to be a little upset at someone stealing her thunder. BUT she has been so loving and adorable with her baby sister. She has the sweetest relationship with Sam! And YES Scarlett still rules the house :) I guess that's what I get for naming her after Miss Scarlett O'hara!
I know I have had four babies by now but I am still in awe every time at how fast they grow up! It seems like just yesterday I was meeting all my babies for the first time and here we are at 8, 5, 2, and 6 six weeks already!!
Samantha loves a nice warm bath although HATES getting dressed afterwards. I love this picture because she is starting to get her own look about her and I love what I'm seeing!!
This Easter was a lot of fun. All the girls were in fabulous moods except when it came to taking pictures... Miss Scarlett refused to smile :(
Scarlett loved finding the eggs. She really got the point of it this year and kept up just fine with the older girls. She looked beautiful in her dress with her hair curled pretty!
Let me just say that Kennidee has the most beautiful hair in the world! She had a great time on Easter. She found the GOLDEN egg this year so that was super special!
Monroe searched high and low for the eggs. She was sad when the hunt was over. She wanted us to hide them all over again so she could hunt some more. She is my "go getter" girl. She never quits. She is already talking about next years Easter egg hunt!
Even Chris got in on the action this year. He found a ton of eggs and walked away with some "play" money for us! Love it :)
I wanted a good family pic so bad this year. Here is the best we could do with everyone at least looking in the same direction. I have been determined lately to take a lot of new pics and fill the house with Sam so that when I look around it feels complete.
I finally got an adorable picture of Miss Scarlett!! This is NOT an easy thing to do people... but as you can see she was in the mood to model! 2 going on 22 :)

Meet Samantha Michelle Cannon...

Our sweet little Sammi was born just two days before Dad's 26th birthday. Here he is holding his birthday gift :)
Samantha was born on March 14th at 2:20pm. She weighed 7.8 pounds and 20 inches long.
The labor and delivery was amazing. Very fast and peaceful! She is the sweetest baby in the world. She makes having a newborn all I thought it would be when I played "house" as a child.
Here is a pic of our little family just minutes before Samantha made her arrival into this world! The girls had been waiting all morning and couldn't wait a moment longer. The excitement in the air was unbelievable!!
Scarlett turned 2 on March 10th. She is so adorable... and she knows it!
For her special day we took her out for ice cream with the family. She was in Heaven!!
My friend Hills and I were pregnant at the same time. As you can see she was a little further along then I was :) She had a beautiful baby boy in November!
Chris and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary in December. It has been the most wonderful 3 years of my entire life. I am a different person then I was 3 years ago. That is thanks to Chris, the Gospel, and our 4 beautiful daughters!
The holidays were amazing like always. We spent time with our growing family. Aren't we a good lookin bunch? My sweet cousin Jessica threw me a fantastic baby shower for Samantha. It was awesome to spend extra time with the ladies in this pic :)

It's Been A While...

It has been awhile... As you can see by the pic. we are expecting a new baby!! And YES it is a GIRL :) I couldn't be happier about that. I feel so blessed that I will have 4 best friends in my life no matter what. I feel blessed that I have been trusted with 4 of the most precious of God's gifts. The girls and Chris are so excited about her coming into our family. She is due in March and we can't wait to meet this little baby. All of my daughters are TRUE gifts!
Scarlett is a little princess. She absolutely adores her sisters. She is talking up a storm and is very good at saying NO already. She has a sweetness about her unlike anything I've ever seen. She isn't drama, and I appreciate that about her. She is fairly independent and loves playing baby dolls. Hopefully this is a good sign that she will love her new sister!
Monroe... She started preschool again this year and loves it so much. She is so amazing. I admire so many things about Monroe like how everyday is an adventure. Nobody can burst her bubble. She is who she is and owns every second of it. She is gentle but tough. She can melt any one's heart by batting her BIG hazel eyes. In saying that she can be a hand full at times but that's OK. It gives me something to talk about ;)
So this is Kennidee's school picture for 3rd grade. I can not believe how gorgeous she looks. She is growing up so fast. She is beautiful inside and out. She is the best big sister in the world and a wonderful friend and daughter to me!
Kennidee turned 8 this July. Chris was able to be the one to baptize her. This was a beautiful day. I will forever remember how beautiful she looked... just like an angel. I will always remember how proud I was of my little family and how far we have come to get to where we are today. We had amazing support from our family and friends. Kennidee is one of a kind! She is a wonderful example to her sisters and to me. A true blessing to anyone she runs into in her life!
This year we took our favorite family vacation to Cali. to see my dad and brother Nic. While we were there we couldn't help but stop off and say HI to a few of our closest friends!
This year's trip was extra special because my dad bought a new house.. YES this is his view!! Breath taking and so peaceful. The girls could not get enough fun in the sun and sand. I how ever was not feeling great this trip and I came home to find out a big surprise... Prego!
I'm so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. This will be the perfect spot for my 4 daughters weddings :)

Hello Hello

Let me start off by saying that the reason I will not be posting any pics on this blog entry is because my laptop is acting like an idiot! But because it has been so long I will update anyway. Going back to Christmas... We had a very Merry Christmas this year. Santa brought us all that we asked for. We spent our day with family but simplified the number of houses we visited to cut down on the feeling of being so rushed. I loved it because we honestly got the chance to really stop and enjoy the spirit of Christmas. Fast forwarding to New Years... Happy New Year everyone!! I have already broken 3 out of my 4 resolutions! Hope you are all doing much better then I am so far :) Moving on... We took a mini family vacation to Las Vegas to visit my dad and to watch my little brother Nic's hockey game. It was awesome fun! Nic has talent. I loved being there to support him. I'm not able to do that too much with him living in California. He is so sweet. ALL of my brothers are amazing people!! Continuing on... Scarlett turned ONE on March 10th. This has been a month full of adjustment. Scarlett went from nursing 7 times a day AND napping in my arms WHILE nursing, to COLD TURKEY not nursing at all. And napping on her own in her crib twice a day! Yes, there were many tears shed from her and I (maybe more from I... dang hormones) but we made it through. Needless to say our routine changed for the better for everyone involved. Chris turned 25 March 16th. We went out to dinner, ate too much cake, and wondered where all the time has gone? That brings us to the present... All of the girls are doing really well. Kennidee is a mini mommy. She is so helpful and beautiful. Monroe is a free bird. Everyday is truly an adventure with her. Scarlett is the most curious little child. She loves to learn new things and soaks everything up like a sponge. We are all healthy and happy. Feeling immensely BLESSED!!

Tis The Season

Chris and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary this month! Time has flown by to say the least. I realized the reason it has flown by so fast is because I married the right person! Chris is the most genuine, outstanding man this world has to offer! He brings out the best in me. For the first time in my life I feel safe, secure, and unconditional.

Chris and I went to Georgia this past week for his company Christmas party. We had so much fun. The people were awesome, the food was tasty, and the overall experience was great! I really missed the girls BUT it was nice to get away just Chris and I for a change!!

His work put on a delicious dinner party at an aquarium. The sea life was surrounding us the whole night, along with a band and gifts.

While in Georgia we stopped by the Coca Cola factory. This bear was one of the best parts of the trip. He was adorable. I wanted the girls to meet him so badly! Look at how cute he is :)
For Monroe's 4th birthday I was stuck sitting on the runway in Georgia for 4 hours due to weather conditions, followed by a 4 hour flight home. I barely made it in time to watch her blow out candles and open presents! It was the longest day of my life!
We found the perfect Christmas tree this year. It looks beautiful! The girls helped decorate the entire thing!

For my 25th birthday this year we started off the day by the girls making me breakfast and by opening my first gift of the day... Eclipse followed by pink roses. Then we all went to see Tangled. I have to say that is one of the cutest movies I have ever seen! I loved it.

My dad flew us out to California for Thanksgiving. We went to the beach, Disneyland, and Uncle Nic's hockey games! It was so fun. The princess castle was breath taking at night. The girls were in awe the entire day!

Scarlett had a blast. She was able to go on all of the rides with us. Chris had never been to Disneyland. He now knows... It is the happiest place on earth!!

Monroe dressed up as Snow White for the day. Her favorite part was when everyone was saying "Hello, princess Snow White". She would smile and say, "I'm not Snow white I'm Monroe!"

We had Thanksgiving on the beach. It was amazing! My dad put forth so much effort. The girls had a wonderful memorable time!! Thanks Dad :) I love you with all my heart!!

Happy Fall Y'all

This year for Halloween Monroe was Snow White, I was a black cat, Scarlett was a ladybug half the night and a Utes cheerleader half the night, and Kennidee was a Hawaiian girl. Chris decided not to dress up this year. BUT next year he promised we could be Bella and Jacob!

Chris' mom Michelle is super talented!! She made Scarlett AKA Ladybug her Halloween costume! It turned out adorable. She is the cutest ladybug I've ever seen! Thanks Michelle!

It was my mom's birthday the day before Halloween and so we followed our every year tradition... we went to Gardner Village and had dinner. We also rode the pony's, went to the candy shop, and walk around and around. It was a good time. I look forward to it every year!

This is by far one of my favorite pictures ever taken! Chris looks so handsome, the sunset is beautiful, and the look on Scarlett's face makes me laugh every time I look at it. She always has wide eyes and jaw dropped! She is a doll!

When we went to the pumpkin patch this year and the girls insisted that they push a wheelbarrow around. I knew they would only want to push it for about 2 minutes and then would get sick of it. When this happened they talked my brother Easton into carrying their wheelbarrow around the entire pumpkin patch for them. Such a sweet Uncle!

We carved our pumpkins the night before Halloween. The girls had such a good time scooping out the guts. They were pretending it was "pumpkin brains". All was well until they started throwing seeds and guts at each other. Then it was time for bed :)

New Season, More Memories

Work it girl! Kennidee started dance this week. As you can see she has zero problem being colorful and dramatic!
Monroe also started dance this week! I thought as I dropped her off she would have a hard time being in a new place and want me to stay with her.... I was wrong! We went up to the door she then turned to me and said, "Bye mom, just pick me up later!"

Monroe is a major animal lover! She wants a puppy so bad but I do not do dogs, I do babies! So Chris and I found this cute little play puppy who barks, walks, wags it's tail, and it's ears. SCORE!! She loves it, she named him Pepper, and I don't have to clean up after it!

My little Roe Roe is growing up and learning to fly on her own :(
She started preschool this week. She has an amazing teacher and is loving every minute of it! Time flies!

Family pictures are getting harder and harder to take these days :)

Does Scarlett have a secret twin??
WOW, she looks just like a cabbage patch doll!
