This week has been insane! And I leave for CA on Sat, so I am trying to get it together by then (it's a crazy goal, but a girl can hope right?) We officially moved into the house on Saturday and it has been non stop since. This week I have cleaned out the condo, cleaned the carpets, taken 4 trips to DI, moved furniture, taken care of the girls (I like how I just throw it in a list like it's no big deal!), taken care of the puppy (that has been impossible), unpacked boxes, bought a new bedroom set and washer and dryer! There are a bunch of other things, but those are the big ones. I am loving our new house, but we have found some problems with the house. Living in a house for a month before buying the the way to go! We find all the problems, and the owner fixes them, then we buy the house! But there is a major leak from the master tub into the dining room!!! So, we will have a plumber over here probably cutting a hole in the ceiling-great.
With all of that said, we have decided to sell the puppy. She was doing great in the condo, but as soon as we moved she started peeing all over the place. The biggest problem with this is we are not allowed to have a dog here until we buy the house. So, I am hiding this puppy from the owner who comes over all the time to fix our list of problems. I have spread myself too thin with this move, and just can't do it all anymore. The girls are going crazy with the change and transition (again), and I need to focus all of my energy on them and ensuring they are secure and happy.
This was such a hard decision, but it was made a little easier when i realized that the novelty of a new puppy had worn off with the girls and that they were ok without Leah. Byron and Hayley were so nice to take Leah for the next 5 days while I try to get it together. Katelyn and Taylor didn't even notice that she was gone!!! I said, "Leah is with Byron and Hayley. What do you think about finding her a new home?" Katelyn then said, "Can I get a trampoline?" I said, yes and then she said, "Ok, let's find Leah a new home!" So, here I am going crazy, and the girls don't even care if we keep the dog!
We have decided that right now is not the time to have a puppy. We need to get settled in our new neighborhood and life. The girls need to be a little older.
I am sad because Leah is the perfect dog! She has a great temperament and is adorable!
But I know this is best for my sanity and for our family right now.
If you knwo of anyone in Utah who may be interested in an adorable puggle please let me know.
