Dear students, 

Please check the option that you have made during the application to your programme and ensure that it is correct. The options available are as follows : 

(a) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery MBBS (IMU)

(b) IMU with Partner Medical School Programme (IMU - PMS) Graduate (2.5+1+2/2.5)

(c) IMU with Partner Medical School Programme (IMU-PMS) Undergraduate (2.5+2.5/3)

In the event, it is incorrect, please liaise with Ms Imelda, Student Records and Placement Unit at ext. 2214 for rectification latest by Monday, 16 April 2012. Otherwise, it would be deemed accurate.

Water Supply Disruption on 26th March 2012

Dear All,

Please be informed that there will be water supply disruption due to maintenance work by Vistajati Holding Sdn Bhd. The disruption details area as follow :

Date: Monday, 26th March 2012
Time: 11.00am – 5.00pm
Affected area: IMU Building, Vista Komenwel B, Vista Komenwel C

During disruption, the building will get water supply from the storage water tank for normal usage. However, the storage are limited and cooperation from all staffs and students to be considerate during the disruption.

ELECTIONS: SRC 12/13

Hey guys,

The SRC elections are here. Our term is coming to an end and we are looking for our successors. Applications are NOW OPEN until the 4th of April 2012.

Those who are interested can obtain the application forms from us at the SRC room in the student lounge. For those of you who are interested but still unsure, you can always speak to any of the council members to enquire about the job descriptions and the election process.

You can email us at src_reps@imu.edu.my and we can email you the specific job description of the post you are intending to run for. We will be putting up the job descriptions of all the positions outside the LIBRARY within the next few days.

Eligible candidates
- Anyone who is currently in Semester 2 or 3 from any course.

Timeline of events:

19 March – 4 April: Application for posts
5-6 April: Internal assessment
5-13 April: Apprenticeship and Campaigning
16-17 April: Hustings
17-19 April: Voting

The following are the positions that you guys can run for:

Apart from the positions of Vice-President (for which only the relevant programmes can run), all other positions are open to all programmes, including President.

Zaid Workshop

Hey guys,

Do you own a smart phone? Do you use a tablet? Or laptop during lecture? Ever want to ask questions but afraid you might disturb the flow of the lecture?

Here is what you can do!!!!

Mr Zaid, the head of E learning department would like to introduce social media as well as new ways to aid students and lecturers to interact during lectures by using twitter and poll everywhere. Therefore, he would like to get students to participate in an one hour workshop. He will touch on the usage of twitter and ways to improve your ppt presentations. The seats are limited as he can only accommodate maximum 40 students. Students will be selected on a first come first serve basis, if you are interested, please email to src_reps@imu.edu.my with the title "Zaid Workshop" for more details! The workshop will be conducted tentatively on the 27 (Tuesday) or 28 (Wednesday) of March.

Official Launch of Batch Blog

Hello Guys/Gals! 

Well, first off I would like to apologize for taking my own sweet time to make this blog. 

I hope that this blog will be a better alternative for making announcements and sharing files i.e. lecture notes and stuff. So, please bookmark this page as any future announcements will be put here, make sure your friends (our batch mates) are all aware of this blog's existence least they become oblivious of any current events or important information.

There are a few things that I would also like to point out, as you can see, I have set up a few pages for this blog, you now have Announcements, Downloads, Forums, Timetable and Tutorials. Click on them to see what each of them do.

Also, do not misuse the chatbox and comment section. I have made it possible for you to post anonymously so please do not misuse it.

If you have any announcements you would like to make, just email the said announcement, with or without pictures to (***ATTENTION***) imu.me211.student@blogger.com and it will be posted after I approve it, this is to save you guys the hassle of having to sign in to the blogger account.
