Lasting Memories Challenge #40 Paper Piecing

HOWDY ALL!

This week over at Lasting Memories the challenge is to incorporate a paper piecing on your layout! Here is my take:

This is my Granddaughter Abby on her Birthday last year, she received a Bee Pillow Pet and at the end of the day, she grabbed it and crawled under the coffee table. TOO CUTE!

DCWV May Challenge

I played along with the Challenge over at DCWV. I had to use this sketch:
and here is my first take, I LOVE the way this turned out, you know I "sometimes" see things differently that the average person! That's JUST ME! LOL!:

So, maybe it's the fact that I didn't have the right amount of pics, but I LOVE these DCWV Birthday papers and just HAD to use them!
Sorry, I got to cut this short, but it's been storming ALL day and we had a tornado hit just 5 miles down the road and then Sedalia got hit yet AGAIN!! TORNADO ALLEY! GEESH! Pool Fun!

HOWDY ALL!

I couldn't sleep last night, so I got up and worked on this layout. I finished it this morning, but just finally got the pic taken and am getting it uploaded.

I found this sketch over at Scrapbooking Ali at the first of the month. I knew I wanted to use it, so I saved it, of course I didn't make her deadline.
BUT, I did use the sketch with a Color Challenge over at The (paper) Trail Makers! Their challenge was to use this Color Combo:

This layout is 3 of my 4 grandkids. I had them for the day last summer and they had a BLAST playing in the pool!

Lasting Memories Challenge #39-Flowers

HOWDY ALL!

This week over at Lasting Memories the challenge is FLOWERS! Whether you make a layout of flowers or add flowers to your layout, we want to see FLOWERS!

I received these flowers from my daughter and granddaughters for Easter back in 2007. The paper is from CM. The "bouquet" is cut with MTC using Amaze font. The flowers, brads, bling and ribbon are from my stash.

I Caught the LOOK!

This month over at Imaginisce the challenge is to:

• create a masculine themed layout/card/project
• use one of our Snag'Em Stamps from any Imaginisce collection
• you must use at least 75% of Imaginisce product

I am also using this for the Wee Memories Challenge this week to "STAMP IT"!

This week the challenge over at Wee Memories is to use something STICKY! Here is a card that I made for a friends son. I thought it turned out kinda cute, ya' know I am not much of a card maker, but she likes it.

The paper is from Core'dinations, the frog came from a Cricut Swap, the happy birthday to you is from SRM Stickers and the ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Lasting Memories Challenge #38

I am just THRILLED to be a Guest DT for Lasting Memories. This week the challenge is "All about Circles" and to use this sketch:

This is my youngest granddaughter, Abby. She was "playing" with my camera. I didn't realize that she actually TOOK pictures! LOL! Imagine my SURPRISE when I uploaded some pics to my computer and found these staring back at me!! It was just PRICELESS, so I had to make a layout.

Birthday Sketch #6

Well, here is the last of the Birthday sketches from Nuts About Sketches that I completed, this one I just finished. I was REALLY hoping to get more done, but ya' know that silly thing called LIFE!! LOL!

This is my youngest grandson, and these pics are SO CUTE, he was so DEEP IN THOUGHT that he never even knew I was taking his picture. The striped paper is from DCWV and the rest is scraps from my stash. The Chipboard stars, eyelets, ticket and ribbon are from my stash. The "wonder" is cut with MTC and I used Ravie font. The small letter stickers are from Cosmo Cricket.

Birthday Sketch #3

HOWDY ALL!

I have been playing along with Nuts About Sketches. They posted a BUNCH of sketches and you have until tonight to link up for a chance to win some goodies. Well, Blogger was being FUNKY for me ALL WEEK! So, finally I am here and getting them all linked. I didn't get as many of them done as I wanted, but have the sketches saved cause they are just AWESOME!

This is the sketch from May 2nd :
Here is my take:
The paper is from DCWV School Stack. I cut the title with Plantin Schoolbook, the stars, lace and journal spot are from my stash. This is also for a challenge on a yahoo group to only use 1 layer! I couldn't layer ANYTHING, which was VERY HARD for me to do, but I really like how this turned out. Clean and Simple!
