Back to School Layout and EDCC Day 30!!!
HOWDY ALL!!
I am SOOO EXCITED!! I made it through ALL 30 DAYS!! WOOHOOO!!! Abby gave us an extra entry today if we used red and metal. So, here is my card using more of my Nikki Sivils paper:
I also accomplished two of the August Challenges today!! The first Layout I made for the scene challenge:
this is My Angel Cricket on her first day of 4th grade.
Here is my second layout, that goes with the above layout, and is for the Out of the Box Challenge, I used paint to make the grass, sky and road. NEVER have done that, and I REALLY like it how they background came out on both of my pages:
this is My Princess Abby on her first day of Preschool. Here are how they look together:
The bus, tree and school are from the My Community Cricut Cartridge and the Sun I cut using a file I had using Make The Cut. Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a look!

EDCC Day 29
HOWDY ALL!
Day 29, WOOHOOO!!! Only 1 more day left, I think I can, I think I can!! LOL!!
I had to work 11-8 today, so didn't get the chance to start on my card until after work and I am BEAT, so it's a fast card, but I really like how it turned out. The paper is Jolly by Golly from Cosmo Cricket, the Santa is a paper piecing that I made for the Christmas Element Swap and the sentiment I received from Suzanne:

24 Hour Challenge and EDCC #28
HOWDY ALL!
I have two things to share with you. First of all, is my 24 hour layout challenge. Over at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' we have a monthly contest to make a page in 24 hours using a sketch and paper pack chosen by another member. I had to use Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety and this sketch:
Here is my layout (Garden Fun) with pics of my Princess Abby helping me pick tomatoes back in 2007, she called them "BALLS"! LOL! She wasn't exactly gentle with them, but we got the job done. AND, she was FILTHY when we finished! LOL:
Here is my EDCC, for some reason my scanner flips out when I use embossing powder, it doesn't like the shininess of it I guess, I used papers from the Christmas Element swap and more chipboard that April had sent me:
THANKS so much for stopping by a taking a look!

I used a lot of the items that I received in the Christmas Elements Swap that Suzanne hosted on the Scrappin'-n-Chattin' Group, so can't really say what company it's from.
Anyways here it is:
