This is the Team Chasqui video of the Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay. The Chasquis were so awesome that they had their own professional videographer along for the ride. He put together this great video. Thanks Matt? Mark? Mike? Weintz!

ZOO
Las Vegas
Last weekend we went to Las Vegas to visit Mason's family. His sister Janel just had the family's first baby girl, so we wanted to go see her. Her name is Talya, and she is beautiful. It was so fun to hold a little tiny baby girl.
The first day that we were there Cooper went out in the backyard without shoes on and stepped on something VERY hot. One of his feet instantly blistered (the other one took awhile to blister) it was like the whole surface of his foot totally melted. It was so sad and he was crying hysterically for a few hours, he even cried in his sleep. Cooper is such a tough little guy that when his cousins came over there was nothing we could do to keep him off his feet, he just wanted to play with the boys. So he limped around all weekend with shoes & socks on to protect his feet. All I can say is if that had been me, I probably wouldn't have walked on it all weekend.Cooper loved watching the water show at the Bellagio.

What goes on while Mom's in the shower?
The other day I left Cooper watching a movie while I took a shower. Everything is baby proofed, so how much trouble could he could get into? Well when I was about to get out I heard him crying pretty hard like something was wrong.
When I came to check on him this is what I found:
He had climbed onto the T.V. stand and had gotten stuck on the little ledge in front of the T.V. Once I was there to help him he was pretty darn proud of himself, but before I came to the rescue I think he was a little scared he'd be stuck there for awhile. Or was he just upset that he couldn't figure out how to get on top of the actual T.V.?

Cooper's New Pets
HE DID IT!
Mason did well on the DAT, and we should be able to get into dental school with his scores. Thank you so much to all of you that prayed for him, we are very grateful and we know that it made a difference.

Fourth of July
We had a wonderful 4th of July. Mason had the day off so it was awesome to get to spend the day together as a family. We spent mosto of the day just enjoying being together, and then that night we drove out to Pleasant Grove to watch fireworks. It has kind of become our little tradition to watch fireworks there since we've been married. They always put on a really good display, and they let you get really close so the fireworks go off right above your head and rain debris on you. Last year it even started a couple fires, it's just always an exciting experience. After the big fireworks we stopped in a parking lot on our way home to do our own little fireworks.
What a great country we are blessed to live in!
