looking back at secondary school, damn do i miss the life then.
in my lower secondary days, jane and i played the charmed sisters (ok i was the brother named phoebe haha), then we would sing to s club 7 and sit behind the science laboratory making fun of mrs yeo's name. in class, esther and i would sing to weird chinese christian songs that she learnt during her primary school days, and i would look out of the window and wave to danielle everyday when she had her prefect duties. then andrew james and i, the notorious 3, led our kampong lifestyle after school. we climbed huge drains, we broke into unoccupied houses and swam in the pools, we had our first cigg puff together, and we caught a live chicken. because andrew and i were rather adored by school seniors, we hung out with them for a period too, over at justie's etc. then in sec 2, because of andrew's 'you kick my dog' sound clip, we decided to do prank calls. yea, we called a few dozen innocent souls, flushed the toilet bowl when they answered and said, you kick my dog! hahaha, that was at jane's place with her private home number. yea, then we got into trouble when a friend recommended us to prank call her ahbeng brother. fucker. then one big gang of delinquents waited outside school one afternoon for the both of us blabla.. oh felicia, yes i still remember you throwing your book on the floor and making me pick it up. ASSHOLE, haha but i love you now no worries :p not to forget, val and i had japanese students from osaka over with us for an exchange. and i hated this guy called kc cos he was shit, for flushing my pants down the toilet bowl.
upper secondary was when i first got attached, and i started hanging out with a new bunch of friends. (i still hung out with my old friends ok) i was really involved in school this period, since i was a committee member in the prefectorial board and school band. had gazillion performances for both organisations, but really memorable. with my prefect committee (the 7 dwarfs), we choreographed many dances together, with songs like sparkling diamonds to stupid cupid haha. because we always went for recess earlier, the 7 of us would eat together at the same place everyday, and many a times skipping our duties cos we only had to do patrolling hahaha. band was a joy, since making music has always been my passion. i specifically remember the practice sessions for syf, it can start from morning all the way till evening, really tough. then my band mates and i would go to 7-11 for a quick bite, sitting on the floor and eating our cup noodles, bts style ok! in class, we had the weirdest seating arrangements! from university style to alphabet style, and our class spirit was really bonded. vanessa and emi were my seat partners, and we had our very own letter writing way of communicating. the former being butterfly, the latter being beach babe and mua, fedex delivery service. i enjoyed irritating vanessa by tickling her, blowing into her ears and listening to her squeals, just gives me the thrills. hah! ok last, the thing which im most proud of back then, was dropping my class' OHP and smashing it into smitterins woohoo.
im sure the lifestyle everyone had for olevels are pretty much the same, endless mugging, remedial lessons and the 10year series, so im moving on.
poly life started off with a blast. attended the sports camp; got the sports boy award, attended school orientation; became mr sb. cheh! but the best was meeting class 22, the blackjackers, the super enthu-notorious class. singing, chalet, clubbing, uniform day, same colour day, jersey day, birthday and cny celebrations make us happy people, yay. in year 2, i was the only guy in my new class, which caused several hoohas and attracted much attention in the yearbook haha. but seriously, thanks to my two dummies, sayang nad and monica ahfei, who are there to hear me out anytime.
ok that was a short paragraph cos im lazy. gah, damn the lazybones. i'll be back, soon
