an acceptance must be unqualified (terms in the contract must be accepted without any changes) , made orally, in writing or by any positive act, silence or any inaction is not sufficient, accepted by the method specified by the offeror, and must be communicated to the offeror by the offeree, with 3 exceptions. they are, if the offeror expects acceptance by conduct only (for example a reward situation), or if the offerer makes his acceptance by post( postal rule applies - when offeree mails his letters duly and correctly addressed, with the correct postage fees.), or if the offeror has authorized any other agents to accept on his behalf!
