SNOW! Maryland has set an all time record for snowfall in one season of 79.9 inches.... which rivals Anchorage, Alaska! We had a snowstorm hit here last Friday, 5 February which dumped a total of 29 inches in my front yard and this was followed on Tuesday by a storm which dumped an additional 22 inches by Wednesday. The state was pretty well shut down for the beginning of the week and there has been 12 deaths reported so far due to these events. My kids (along with me) are amazed at the amount of snow and I think they will be able to have snow sledding in the front yard during their birthdays in June and July! A county front loader came through yesterday and piled a 8.5 foot pile of snow in front of my house and it is solid packed snow. Hopefully the melting will be slow because the ground was already saturated before this and did I mention we are supposed to have another accumulating snow on Monday???

Stitching has been hampered by the sale of our one house. Hopefully, settlement will be next Friday and then I will be as free as a bird! I have been rotating between 3 projects so I haven't had a finish yet this year. I did start something small the other day when cabin fever set in so I will be posting a picture soon.... but will keep the surprise for the unveiling. Let's just say it has nothing to do with snow!
Here is my progress of Kind Fond Love... I haven't worked on this as much as I would have liked.

And finally, my Lizzie Kate Monthly Flip-It. Hopefully, March will be done this weekend and then on to April. I ended up having to get some threads to continue on this piece and luckily made it to the LNS before the snow hit.
