Summer catch up - June edition

Here are some pictures from our incredibly busy, yet amazingly fun summer!

6 days after Maya was born, Ella had her Spring Ballet Recital. Here she is at the curtain call(third from left). She did a great job and looked so beautiful. I'll have to remember that this is a good color for her.

The next day was her Gymnastics Recital. She did a great job there as well!

I had to post this picture of Jack! So typical of him - pure fun! This kid is full of fun.

My parents and grandparents came to visit Maya. She is two weeks old here. I feel so fortunate to have a family that supports and loves me. The kids may not realize it now, but it is an amazing thing to have 4 generations together! Even more amazing is the love and friendship that exists in those generations.

This girl spent so much time on her scooter, I was beginning to wonder if she could walk. :)

Maya Sophia...Finally!

So here are pictures of our new little girl - only a month after the fact!! When does one find the time to blog when the internet is only working 2 or 3 hours during any given 24 hour period? And let's be honest - even if there was a decent chunk of time online when I was awake, I now have 4 kids. Where does one find the time to blog with 4 kids? Anyone? Becky - I need ideas! (Jonner's cousin has 4 kids and she is amazing at keeping her blog updated!)

Maya Sophia was born on May 28th at 11:43 am. She tipped the scales at 8lbs 7oz (our biggest baby) and was 20 inches long.

She has lots of dark hair and it is still dark and hasn't rubbed off! She also isn't as fair as our other kids, so that's fun too. She is very mild mannered (much like Ella was as a baby) and she looks so much like Olivia did as a newborn. It will be interesting to see if she keeps that mix!

Ella, Olivia and Jack love her so much and are very protective. They are always asking to hold her, brush her hair, help get her dressed, etc. It is really very sweet.

We are so blessed to have this little cutie. I have had many mornings where I wake up and remember I have 4 kids and I laugh every time. I feel way too young to have 4 kids! They are the best things to happen to me (since Jonner!) and I feel like the luckiest person in the world. Maya is a great addition to our family - even if I'm much too young to have 4!

Cutest Buns Ever!

I was looking through holiday pictures and came across this one of Ella and Olivia. I love it! They were waiting to jump on a bungee trampoline and this might have been the only second they were standing still! Love my girls! Can't wait to have another!

Tooth #3

Miss Ella lost her third tooth tonight. She has been complaining for days about the 'pain' this little tooth has caused. Tonight she asked for some medicine - "drop it right under the wiggly part mom, it works better that way." So I did exactly as she asked (of course) and oops!-out came that tooth! Now she's sound asleep with a cute little tooth under her pillow, awaiting the Tooth Fairy. What a girl! I sure love her - and her toothless smile.

Pathetic!

Pathetic! For real. How can I be so pathetic at keeping up a blog? Just because my 6 year old is more skilled at the computer than I am? Maybe it's because I can't ever think of what to post? Well, whatever the reason, my attempts have been pathetic! So - time to turn over a new leaf. Don't get excited - I'm not promising a weekly update, but I can definately manage more than 4 posts a year. Wish me luck. And please feel free to harass, remind, and/or mock me about this 'new leaf' as often as you desire. It will probably be the only thing that keeps me posting!!
