Merry Christmas!

Santa made it to our house...he always seems to find it.

Kids lined up ready to see what he brought.  It won't be too many more years that we have stair steps, one of these days Dustin is going to pass Bridget.

It was a great day!  I was dreading going to church, which isn't a very good attitude I know.  I like to just be LAZY on Christmas and that took effort - but I enjoyed every minute of it once we got there.  It was a special meeting with all 3 wards together.  We had some great music and President Tenney gave a great talk that I loved.  It was great to partake of the sacrament on this special day to celebrate the Savior's birth.
Christmas is a great time of year.  I have learned over the years (I guess i always knew it but appreciate it more now) the time spent together as a family.  I am SO thankful I have my little family and extended family close by we are able to spend time with.  It is great too to hear the kids saying how much they love Christmas - not just the presents but the time with family and the traditions that they look forward to every year!

Christmas Eve

We had our pretty traditional Christmas Eve this year.  We went to Snowflake for the evening and had a yummy Mexican dinner, then it was on to the program.
There was piano playing

and the Nativity with the cousins.

We got home and the kids got changed into their PJ's.  We had some reindeer food the kids sprinkled out on the grass so they would be sure to find our house.

And  milk and cookies for Santa.
Kids ready for bed
 and tucked in!!

Caroling

Tonight was our traditional Christmas Caroling with the Parry's.  Just one of the many things we love about Christmas and look forward to all year!

Here comes Santa

Saturday we went to the Home Center to see Santa.  The boys were out playing in the mud on the 4-wheeler, (I mean sledding but somehow came back covered from head to toe in mud) with Jordan (all the cousins stayed with us for the weekend).

Bridget decided it would be worth it to her to sit on his lap for some hot chocolate and cookies!

Bridget's Party

Bridget had a little Christmas Party Friday night with some of her 7th grade friends.  There is a good bunch of girls that age.  They had lots of fun.
Playing games......

 Laughing.......
 Talking .......
 Eating......
They had a little white elephant gift exchange and they were so cute.  Here is their goofy picture of what they got.
Again, we are SO grateful for the place we live and the great people here!

Christmas Program

Mountain Meadows had their Christmas Program Friday.  Tylinn and Megan are singing their little hearts out to their Spanish Christmas song they were singing.

Kaylee's class sang O' Christmas Tree.  It was hard to get a good picture of her.

They all did so good and it was so cute!  I love all the little programs around Christmas time!

New Look

Kaylee and Bridget have some new looks.  One day Kaylee got Frosty's hat and scarf and Dustin's snow goggles and thought she was stylin!

 Bridget.....hmm don't know!

Snowball fight!!!

Yesterday Dustin came home from school so excited.  He said on Wednesday his class was going to get to play in the snow.  Dustin took all his snow clothes so he could stay warm and dry.  The boys and girls both built a snowman, here is the boys with their snowman.

Then they had a snowball fight!  Dustin had a blast!  He was so excited!  He said they got Mr. Maner pretty good, I 'm sure he got them back!  Cute pictures that I got from Jill off facebook, thanks!

Ward Christmas Party

Tonight was our ward Christmas party.  It was an enjoyable evening.  The primary kids did their nativity and sang songs.  We were so sad because Rhett Man came home from school this morning with a fever so he was home on the couch and didn't get to go.
Kaylee was a lamb

 Dustin as Joseph
 Tylinn an Angel 100%
Santa even came for a visit and to let all the kids sit on his lap.
