We had a great Thanksgiving this year as usual. We have much to be thankful for. Tuesday Tylinn had a little program at school and a Thanksgiving feast. She was SO excited about it. Her class were the pilgrims and the other 1st grade class were the Indian's. Kaylee and I eat lunch almost every Monday with Tylinn when I am there to help in her class so I told Bruce he could go eat with her this time. Here is our little pilgrim:
Wednesday after Bruce got off work we went down to Scottsdale to Mark and Twila's house to spend some time with them. Mark was kind enough to get the pool heating up so the kids could swim. They LOVED that!!
That night we got to go watch Tangled - very cute movie!
We spent Wednesday night with them. Thanksgiving morning Bruce and I went for our own little Turkey Trot - Bruce hasn't ran for about 2 months and he kept up with me just fine and went 8 miles like it was nothing - wish I could do that! Got back to Twila's and made our 15 lbs of mashed potatoes and went to Darrel and Teresa's house. It was our turn to be with the LeSueur's for Thanksgiving. We love being with them and me being able to see so many cousins. There were about 120 of us there. Here are a few pictures from that afternoon.
Bruce caught a ride back to Heber Thursday night with his parents because he had to work Friday and Saturday. The rest of us stayed down there at Grandma Nena's house. The kids love staying there. Will's family was staying there too so it was extra fun because there were cousins besides just Grandma's house.
Friday morning bright and early 4 am Holli and I started on our Black Friday shopping. It seemed like there were tons more people and not near as many good deals. We shopped all day pretty much until we dropped. It was Katelyn's birthday so Holli had a little party for her with all the cousins. I got almost every bit of my Chritmas shopping done. Friday night Bridget and Melissa spent the night at Jill's house. They had fun with Jill and Dallas. Saturday morning we came home. It was great to be home and to see a little white stuff all over - we live in a beautiful place even if it is freezing cold and windy outside right now....from a window it is beautiful.... much to be thankful for!

Twister
I haven't put much on here lately - I guess because life has just been the same thing as every other day.
The other night for FHE we (or the kids - Bruce and I were the spinners) were playing Twister. Tylinn was having a very emotional night - crying about everything. She was playing and was all spread out and started crying again and plugged her nose - Why does my face have to be by Rhett's stinky bottom? She was obviously having issues that night.
Dustin is still wrestling - a couple more weeks of that. He hurt his arm in practice last week so he didn't wrestle in the match last week. Everybody has aches and pains right now it seems like. Tylinn has been complaining about her stomach for the past week, Dustin has a tooth ache because he has a loose tooth and has been wiggling it, Kaylee's gums hurt, Bridget and Rhett throw theirs in here and there. Bridget is still loving being 12 and going to YW but misses going to Activity Days.
Life is good!

......I'm going there someday
Saturday morning I had the privilege of taking Bridget to the temple to do baptisms for the dead for the first time. She loved it. Here she is after we got home. I wanted to take a picture of here in front of the temple but I forgot to take my camera.
The people at the temple were as always so so nice and made Bridget feel very special. I called and they told me a group was going 7-8 that she could go with them. Well the group never showed up so it was just Bridget. She got baptized for 60 people and I did all of the confirmations except the last 10 that they let her do after she finished in the water. It was a great experience and I hope we can go back soon. Bruce wasn't able to go with us because he had to work. Hopefully he will get to go next time.
