Cracked Eggs

I tentatively enter the blogging world! I love looking at the blogs of others but have never considered myself techno-savvy enough to pull this off. LaMar must believe otherwise! Maybe an old dog can learn new tricks!
Christmas has been fantastic! We pulled off a HUGE surprise for our kids by having a Wii under the tree. They never thought their parents would indulge them in such a way. After all we have been balking at such requests for years! I have to admit it was fun, for once, to see our kids beside themselves with excitement.
Here are a few pics from our Christmas Eve activites last night. Pictures of today will be forthcoming.

Introducing the INITIAL post of Claudine's blog. Hopefully, this will serve as an additional medium for her to share information and log ideas, thoughts, and feelings.

Currently, we are being drowned in stuff we are not used to seeing around these parts. The local newspaper, The Columbian, is reporting that Vancouver hasn't seen snow like this in 58 years. Many will squabble at how handcuffed the area is when a little skiff hits the ground. Such may be the case, but they just aren't prepared for conditions like this. It is hard to justify the allocation of resources to invest in snow removal equipment enough to clear the results of a storm that comes along once every 58 years.

Here's a short video that shows some of the sights outside our home.
