Megan our volunteer is making socks. Now she can teach all of us! Who will be the next sock pro?
One of our newer clients wanted to learn a new crochet stitch so she went to our library of books and found a crochet book and taught herself this stitch!
She made another blanket, moved on to pillows, and now wants to learn how to knit.

Lucia taught us how to make flip flop's fancy!
She says she can't really knit, but look at what she is doing!
Look at this beautiful blanket.
Here is a handbag being made out of sugar and spice cotton.
She just learned how to knit and she is on her way.
Above is the beginning of a throw blanket with each row a different yarn. And below is another.

Above, her felted bag and below, a new client surprised me, she knew how to knit as a child!

Above, a felted bag in progress. below: lucia is making a sailboat baby blanket.

Above is another throw blanket and below Zelphia is showing the clients how to make a fancy shawl.

We received some cones of silky thin yarn and this client made the most beautiful soft blanket out of it.
Above a felted handbag waiting for i cords and below is one in progress.
Thanks for all of the kind words, notes and emails. I read the notes to the clients during our knitting group. I was away for two weeks and when I came back I was greeted with many new projects. The throw blanket is great fun using a different yarn for each row and i suggested that it might be a fun way to make a shawl. We'll see if someone tries it.
