October 2011 - Yes We Have Been Here All Along

I am just behind in posting photos of the work the ladies have been completing. Thanks to everyone who has sent yarn and needles on to us. I have only posted a few photos, many more still in my camera. I included a photo of blanket that was donated to our ladies. It will be used in the community room and we thank all of the people who worked on it.

I am so far behind in posting photos although they are all in my camera! We are knitting continually at Interim House. Thank you all so much for sending on yarn and needles. It is all being used and is always appreciated. We have wonderful volunteers and students who are smiling in the photos as they come each week to help teach the clients; and, for the students, the clients teach them! More photos to be posted covering these months.........

Our premie hats are growing. Look at our great projects from very new knitters as our length of stay in residential has become shorter. These knitters have had to learn very quickly. They are doing great projects.

These are our squares. We are trying to complete an afghan that everyone participates in by making a square. We'll get there. Thanks to one of our volunteers for helping with this.

This is our hat project. The ladies are surprised that they can make a preemie hat.
