Merry Christmas!!!

What a Merry Christmas we had this year! Just a few pics real quick...I'm exhausted! Hard to believe it is the kids third Christmas already. They don't really understand Christmas yet, but they really love unwrapping gifts. Hope everyone had a Christmas that was as fun and blessed as ours!

Christmas Eve

Trying to get a pic in front of the tree...not so easy this year.

Christmas morning, watching it snow.

Mom finally let us attack the tree and presents.

No heat...Brrrrrrr

It has been pretty cold lately, 20s at night. Typically we keep the house around 71, so when we woke up to a 65 degree house it felt pretty cold. The kids thought it was pretty cool to wear our warm winter hats. I called a repair man and we had heat again within a few hours.

Big shoes to fill

The triplets are really into wearing shoes right now...any size, color, or type. It is so cute to watch them try to walk around in mommy and daddy's shoes.

Notice Kelen's heels
Daddy's big stinky nikes

Fall Photoshoot

The fall colors were beautiful this year and we decided to take advantage of it and get some outdoor family photos taken. Let me just say, getting 3 two year olds to cooperate, sit still, look in the same direction, smile....impossible! But we still got some great pictures! Enjoy!

Is it really November???

We have had some really beautiful weather over the past several weeks. It hasn't really felt like November to me. The weekends have been especially nice which is great so we can get out as a family. We found a nice big quiet park that we love up in Bethalto, IL. It was almost 80 degrees, which explains Ella in a sleeveless shirt and Kevin in shorts! The kids had a blast!

Ohhh the sun feels so good!
Pondering life...or thinking about snack time.?
Who's kid is this?
And this one? They look way too grown up to be mine!
Cutie pie!
How cute is this? Daddy - daughter talk.

Halloween 2009

Our first trick or treating experience was so much fun! The triplets seemed to have a blast in their costumes. Our little monkeys were a huge hit in the neighborhood. I decorated the wagon with vines and bananas and off we went. It was a little cold, but at least the rain stopped.

Love this pic! Silly Monkeys!

My sad attempt at decorating the wagon.

Ready to go with all of our neighbor buddies.

Monkey See, Monkey Do!

Can you believe the triplets are TWO! I know I can't! Two years ago today three tiny babies entered this world 3 months too soon. Kevin and I were scared to death that they might not survive... well, here we are 2 years later and they are 3 of the most healthy, energetic, lovable two year olds I know. We know how lucky we are and we are so thankful! Many days I sit back and watch them run around and play and laugh and I think to my self, "Wow, I really have three kids!" It is so amazing to see them interact and grow up together at the exact same age. What a blessed (and very proud) momma I am!

We had a small monkey themed party for them last Saturday. I think everyone had a blast. The triplets really seemed to enjoy having people around to play with and Cory loved opening ALL the gifts! Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate with us and for all the wonderful presents! I am saving a few to bring out over the next few months.

Cute decorations courtesy of Kevin and Chris!
Monkeys, monkeys everywhere!
Love this pic! Thanks Chris!
The cupcake toppers I made. Yummy banana cupcakes with cream cheese icing to go with the monkey theme. And yes, I made them myself! Go me!
Hanging with Dad.

Bright eyed after naptime and ready to party!

The gift opening pro.

Testing out the new baby stroller.

A great shot of the shirts I had made by Green Valley Kids on etsy. I just LOVED them!

The balloons were a big hit! Look at the pure joy on Kelen's face!
Making quick work of those cupcakes.
