Popsicle anyone?

As many of you know, we are in the process of buying our first home. And with that comes lots of packing and organizing. Tonight we finished emptying out the large chest freezer so it can defrost before we move. While adding large freezer items to the freezer above the fridge Gerritt found a couple of 'Otter Pops' that I made us buy the summer Abby was born. Abby was in need of some entertainment so I thought I'd let her try her first popsicle. She loved it!

Don't you think she's cute?
I certainly DO!

A lot of Firsts....

So I noticed that it has been a really long time since I last posted.....sorry about that. I don't have any pictures either because I forgot to take pictures of my mangled car. Last Tuesday, Abby and I were in a car accident. Yep it's my first one.....and I'll be getting my first ticket out of it. We're both okay and just waiting till the Vue gets fixed and a new car seat arrives before we start traipsing around town again.
Abby rode the bus for the first time Thursday! What an adventure. She was acting abnormally stressed and upset for a couple days after the accident so I wanted to take her to the pediatrician. Lucky for us the bus that runs closest to our house drives right by his office. Turns out she had a double ear infection.....another first. I also had a Dr. appointment since my back and incision area hurt badly. We, I mean I, had to carry Abby and run to catch the bus to get to my appt. I have another CT scan this week to check out the diaphragm and make sure it's still intact. I'm not too worried......I feel a lot better than I did last week. Then Abby and I walked to Target(it was the closest pharmacy) to get her antibiotics. As we were leaving Target, I realized that we would be lucky to catch the bus, so again I start running! We barely made it. By this time it's 1:30 and we haven't had lunch...well, Abby ate all the snacks I packed in the diaper bag, and we're exhausted from all the running around. Abby crashes on my lap, and weighs a ton as I'm walking back home.
What a crazy week!
