Aquarium in Gatlinburg Tennessee & The Smokey Mountains

So last week we had a great time going down to Tennessee and Georgia! We loved the drive and thought it was gorgeous. We had so much fun!

The Ripley's (believe it or not) Aquarium is aparently the largest aquarium in the U.S. It was awesome. The tunnel is pretty neat.

We also loved Georgia while we were there. We ate at a restraunt that Bob really wanted to visit from his mission. It was a 3 hour drive to and from our hotel, but it was definately worth it. It was a buffet that they bring to your table. It was delicious!!

CALIFORNIA

We just got back from our amazing vacation at Newport Beach and LOVED it!! Sometimes I really don't think you realize how much you are in need of a vacation until you are actually on one.

We spent the week with Bobs parents, Mike and Jeanie, and his sister Aimee - her husband Clint, and their little boy Easton!

We want to especially thank mom and dad McBride for letting us come vacation with them. We really had such a great time, and thank you for it!!

One of the highlights of our vacation is when we got to see "Wicked" in Hollywood. It was amazing. Probably the best broadway we've seen.

Fun with family-- Averi loved playing with her cousin Easton. They really had a good time...Averi would just follow him around in circles all day if she could.

Lots of time at the beach. Bob tried surfing and body boarding. I also tried body boarding and really thought I was gonna die. Averi enjoyed eating the sand :)
We saw all these beat up old homes that were literally just like 20 feet away from the Ocean. It was pretty crazy...

One Dollar Car

So a few months ago I went to a garage sale and saw this car for a buck. So I got it. Well I've been waiting forever with this little car in my house, just waiting for the day that Averi could sit on it without falling off immediately. Well, today she sat on it for about a minute - then fell off! But she was there long enough for me to get some pictures, and push her for a little bit!

Labor Day in Indiana!

We just love going to Indiana to visit our neices and nephew! We haven't been out to see them for a while, but we got to get out there to spend labor day with them! We had so much fun swimming, and playing some games! Averi just loves her cousins and had such a great time! Thanks Chad, Teena and family! :)
