SO MUCH HAPPY

Hello just popping in to share a just because layout

So much Happy

I tend to mix ranges up when I create, just what I pick up and think works at the time.
I've used Kaisercraft PP, and Die cuts from the reject shop. The enamel dots are from Megs Garden , the flair and "So much Happy" and "Love This "sentiment are from the Coco Vanilla "More than words" range. I've also added some packaging .

I love the happiness captured in this photo.

HEIDELBURG ~ ARCHISCRAPS CHALLENGE

Hello Lovelies
Today I am sharing a layout for the challenge at Archiscraps which is to use triangles on your layout. Here is my take

I have added triangles in a few ways. Firstly there was a triangle pattern on the PP , I have cut three triangle shapes and added gold glitter triangle on them. I've added a chevron stamp and also used a chevron stencil with texture paste.

When leaving our accomodation in Koblenz Germany, the lovely couple that helped their son run the Guest House told us we must go to Heidelburg as Elvis lost his heart in Heidelburg ~ so to Heidelburg we went :)

Where did all the inbetween Years Ago ~ Challenge Yourself

Hello Lovelies,

Today I would like to share my take on the challenge at Challenge Yourself which is

and this is my take

I've used a die from Megs Garden behind the photo of when I was little and the flowers trailing down is also a die from Megs Garden (two of my favourites at the moment)
I added a old book page behind the photo of me at my daughters wedding and the Life sentiment. The clock tucked in the side is cut from a Prima Package and the flowers were gifted to me from my niece which I have placed on top of pink embroidery thread that was my Mums. Pink pastel enamel dots are also from Megs Garden.

The gorgeous butterfly flair I added to my layout after I thought I had completed it, I think it works well with the colours , the flair is from Funky Flair Studio. I keep thinking the face image is life laughing at me.
I am turning a big number in the next couple of weeks, so this challenge really speaks to me as I have been thinking about when did I get so old and how quickly it creeps up and as my journalling says " where did all those inbetween years go "
Thanks for calling by and I really appreciate any comments that you take the time to leave.

TRUE FRIENDS ARE NEVER APART ~ SCRAP THE GIRLS

Hello on this cold day in Australia, fingers crossed for some rain.
Sharing another layout ( yep I have a exciting life, when not working , I scrap )
This layout is for the challenge at Scrap the Girls, which this month is all about Besties

and this is my take on the challenge

I have used the Kaisercraft "Wildflower" collection for my paper and I found I had some die cuts and PL card that went well with the paper & then I went a little OTT with the flowers and butterflies, but I am ok with that as I feel it represents us well as we were teenagers in the seventies.

I am blessed to have this girl as my friend for over 40 years, I wish she still lived here, but as the saying go "True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart."
Thanks for calling by , wishing you a wonderful weekend.

JOURNEY ~ MORE THAN WORDS CHALLENGE

Hello !
Today I would like to share two layouts inspired by the current challenge at More Than Words which is to use the word Journey and a image of a map on your layout. Being inspired to document my travel photos is always a good thing for me.

First layout I create is ~ Record the Journey

A photo of my husband at Volterra in Tuscany.

I was happy to use quite a lot of old embellishment on this layout

After I completed this layout I discovered the Kaisercraft Pad I purchased on special which had the paper above in it also had a page of a map image, so of course I had to create another page !

The Magic of Christmas ~ Scrap the boys

Hello ! Today I would like to share my layout for the challenge at Scrap the Boys.
I am on a bit of a roll at the moment, Yesterday I scrapped three pages. I have been working a lot and missing being creative , so over the weekend  in between working I settled down to get stuff done!

The challenge at Scrap the Boys this month is to add sewing to your layout. I had this photo of my eldest son on the desk when he was a little boy so decided to go with it. Picked the paper and then realized its actually a Christmas photo, doesn't matter, just add Christmas elements and I was happy how it turned out.

The Magic of Christmas

I remember this Christmas was magical, as Joseph I think was about 2 by the looks (his birthday is Boxing Day ) and its just the age that little ones really start to be excited with all that goes with Christmas. He received the wooden rocking horse that year from Santa.

A real Christmas tree adds to the magic I think.  Ive added messy zig zag stitching to my layout. The flair is from Funky Flair Studio
Thank you for calling by, I appreciate any comments.

Oh the Places You Will Go ~ Dr Seuss ~ Kraft Plus June Challenge

Hello !
Today I would like to share a layout I created for the challenge at Kraft Plus . The challenge is to use a Dr Seuss quote. There are heaps of fab Dr Seuss quotes , but my favourite is "The Places You will go " I have used this before on a layout for my Grandson, but he is who I think of when I read "The places you will Go " as it is advice I want him to know.

The photo of when he was a little boy is blurry, but I like it as it captures his sweet , gentle nature and it has his best friend Rabby in it , he used to take Rabby everywhere.

Thanks so much for calling by, and I do appreciate any blog love .
