Drunken Stampers #156

Are you going to be this week's life of the party? Well, if you want to be in the running you need to upload your best Marilyn Monroe project to Drunken Stampers. This weeks theme is Person and that person is Marilyn Monroe.

I am very happy with how this image turned out. I had to cut off the feet (but it worked out in the end) because my black wink of stella pen leaked a large blob of black shimmer on her foot.

I used the deconstructing jen sketch 84. The paper and frame sticker is from Scraptures Feb 2012 scrapbook kit..Imaginisce Sole Sisters. The image is blonde bombshell from Kenny K designs and coloured with my copic markers..  The sentiment stamp is C & C designs. Small gems are by silhouette and attached with my iRock.

Please take the time to do the Marilyn Monroe challenge and post it to Drunken Stampers . Also enjoy what the rest of the Tropical Hooters team did with the challenge.

christmas gifts

Made some Christmas gifts this year.

This first one is for my nana..I did all the grandkids (and great grandkids) but totally forgot my own brother. D'oh.

This one was for my cousin Will and his wife Amber. Got the idea from here. My uncle got me the baseballs, used ones, which added to the look of it. They both loved it.

Got this idea here. Used my silhouette to cut out the letters in vinyl and then used a cool floating frame. This was for Will's sister Stephanie and her husband Scott. They too loved it.

Did you make any gifts this holiday season? Were you proud of them? Would love to see links to them.

Wild Card Wednesday

Check out the Scraptures blog to see where I got my inspiration and how I made this card with the supplies I already had in my scrap room.

I actually made this card at work very quickly because I wanted to bring it with me to a craft show (outdoors) on Dec 6th.

Drunken Stampers

DS154

This weeks theme for Drunken Stampers is Paris or romance. I had this stamp set I won years ago..Penny Black It's Amore. PERFECT!

I looked online for some ideas and sort of incorporated them into my card with my own little ideas.  I was also super excited to use my new stamp set from Hero Arts ... Brush Strokes and my new wink of Stella. I got them both from my sorority secret sister and was happy to use them right away.
I stamped the heart and the eiffel tower in distress ink. I also coloured with my distress markers and a water pen.  I thought the tower looked like it was just floating in air and instead of drawing something I added the ribbon. Then mounted the whole thing to a black base with foam dots.

Let's see your Paris creations! Link them up to the Drunken Stampers blog and see if you are the Life of the Party.

Crop layouts

I was at a crop on Sunday and basically only got 2 layouts done. Wow! I thought I did more than that but I guess not. I was fighting a pretty bad headache all day.

I totally scraplifted this layout but don't know where from.

This one is featured at Scraptures today along with Shannon's layout. We both liked a Creative Scrappers sketch so we decided to both do it, using different papers and themes.

Wild Card Wednesday

This is my card for Scraptures card kit this week. I used the MojoMonday sketch that was included with the kit.
The paper is Simple Stories December Documented. The stamp is from CTMH.
