Drunken Stampers 146

It's that time for me again. Another Drunken Stampers challenge. This week is wood. Now if I really let my mind go to the gutter, where it usually does when I am drinking, I could really do something bad...but decided to keep it PG.
I used my October card kit from Scraptures. I came with a woodgrain stencil from Prima and the Operation Write Home stamp set. It worked great. I used the stencil for both the background and the house.
I hope you take on the challenge of WOOD.  Visit Drunken Stampers to see what everyone else has done with this challenge.

Since I used the Operation write home stamps I am going to send this to a soldier to send cards home.
If you would like to do the same here is the info:

See you later.

Scraptures Crop

Yesterday I spent the day at a crop hosted by Scraptures. I actually got a lot done, at least for me.

This first layout was done using a Basic Grey kit. I just changed the title.

The rest were done using sketches.

Most of the layouts are of photos from 2010, which is now done (except for my Disney album).  I did one other layout but it will be used on Friday for Scraptures Finally friday.

Drunken Stampers 144

Time for another Drunken Stampers challenge.

This weeks challenge is PERSON: Neil Armstrong..or outer space.
I looked up some quotes from Neil Armstrong and picked:
"I was elated, ecstatic & extremely surprised that we were successful."
I thought it would make a great congratulations card.

I would love to see what you do with this weeks challenge.

I used the sketch 120 from Deconstructing Jen.
The image was a freebie from Bugaboo Stamps coloured with copics.
The patterned paper is Simple Stories Awesome.
