Scraptures Wednesday

Good morning, a little late this morning, but done. I actually had my card done last night but didn't have the energy to take a photo...sick. Then this morning was just one big comedy of errors. UGH
It's another card for this months card kit from Scraptures.
I used sketch 119 from Deconstructing Jen for this card. The paper is all from the Carta Bella Well Played line. This time I even used a sticker from the included sheet. I didn't even have to cut into a new 12x12 paper, just used what I have been using all month. I also took my calligraphy zig pen and outlined all the parts before attaching them.

Drunken Stampers London

This week's challenge is a Place..LONDON to be specific. I will admit it, this one was a really hard one for me. I could not come up with idea for this one. I even tried looking at what the rest of the design team had done and even though I really loved a couple of them and wish I had thought of using that specific pop culture icon. LOL  When you visit the blog you will know what I mean.
Than I thought Betty Boop with a bobby but my husband said she's american you can't use her.
Then I thought AUSTN POWERS. So I printed him off, fussy cut and attempted the union jack behind him. LOL

Please visit the drunken stampers to see what a great job the rest of the team did with this weeks challenge.

You're so Witchin'

Again getting done under the wire...this is the image for the facebook fan challenge for Siimply B stamps
My image was coloured on the weekend but I only finished the card on Wednesday. I was going to post last night but DH bought the new Star Trek so by the time that was over and then Big Brother I was falling asleep.

I used the sketch from Deconstructing Jen 117 and a piece of Tim Holtz paper. The spider web paper is by celebrate it (michaels). The inside says you're so witchin (that came with the image).

AWESOME

Time for another card with the Scraptures Card kit.

This is a scraplift from Jennifer McGuire. I used a balloon from a SU set that I have.

Let's see your take on a  CASe card (clean and simple).

Fabulous

For July (yeah I know this card is really late but not as late as June's card) Scraptures card exchange the theme was BLING. I looked online for ideas and found this one
I didn't have the same sentiment stamp but thought this one from Technique Tuesday was perfect.
Here is my card. You can't see it in the photo but I embossed two lines along the one side and the top.

I want to make another one...it's already stamped..just need to add the bing.

Drunken Stampers 140

I am late with my card, I had it done on time but totally forgot to do the blog post. UGH
Anyways here is this weeks challenge at Drunken Stampers..
DS140

I loved the mojo monday sketch I used earlier in the week so decided to use it again.
I coloured up this image from Bugaboo stamps. I used Dylusions sprays, and made the golf balls using an embossing folder and circle punch. The buttons are from my stash.

I hope you decide to join us this week for the button challenge at Drunken Stampers.

Scraptures Card Kit Wednesday

September is here and back to school...nope I didn't do a back to school card with this months awesome card kit. I loved everything in the kit this month. The paper pack from Carta Bella "Well Played", Queen and Co rhinestones, Maya Road Pin & Flag combo, Hero Arts "Awesome" stamp set (which I used on a previous card last week), doodlebug alphas, dylusions Postbox red spray (love it), and My favorite things chicken wire stencil.

To see more details on how I made this card visit the Scraptures blog.

The only thing I added to the kit was the image from Kraftin' Kimmie Annette Glamour girl. The sketch is from Mojo Monday.
