a couple of layouts

I am just keeping up with the challenges at the NOOK each week. I was able to combine a Nook challenge with one from Scrap N Chat as well.
Here are a few that I did so far this week.

Scrapbusy

I have been participating in a summer long scrapfest at a local LSS and am having a good time. The challenges started out fairly simple but they have been getting harder. This past week's 5 challenges were a bit hard but I prevailed. Here are some of the layouts that I did.

on my blogging. I should be keeping this up more and I did plan on it..every night I think I should update and then I get lazy.

I have been doing lots of challenges for a summer contest at the Nook. I am somewhat pleased with most of my results.






Not sure what else to post about. Had my birthday on Monday and we went to dinner at Boston Pizza. Taking Dakota to a birthday party on Saturday..been bike riding lots. I borrowed my neighbours bike and rode it to work last Friday, and I was sooo sore. Rode again Sunday and Monday. Hoping to ride again tomorrow depending on the weather.

Happy Canada Day (a little late)

I know, I know..I am little late with this post. I have no excuses except that I have been lazy. I have been scrapbooking lots and not really doing much else. LOL Laundry is getting done but that is it. Mark went to guys fishing weekend last weekend. Then Wednesday was CANADA DAY. Mark went golfing with Don (as usual) and Justin came over. We watched Sandra Bullock movies and drank. Dalton went to a birthday party at Peaks Indoor rock climbing. That is about all we did for the holiday in the middle of the week. Yesterday we got together with some neighbours for a fire and drinks..not necessarily in that order. Got home at 2 am and Mark got up with Dakota this morning so that I can sleep.

We also took Dakota to a little bit of our childhood..the Avondale Dairy Bar. The best place to go for ice cream on a warm summer day. Just on the other side of the Welland Canal.




Anyways...The Scrapping Nook is having a summer long contest. You get points for completing challenges, photo contests and games. I one the first bingo game and have completed all challenges and entered both photo contests.
