I am so lame about keeping this up. I get up so early in the morning to take the dog for a walk, do a short work out and then get ready for work. This starts at 5:45 am. Once school starts it may have to be earlier. UGH!! So by 9 pm I am falling asleep. Most evenings we have either soccer or baseball. That is coming to an end next weekend. Saturday is Riley's soccer banquet day and Dalton has the finals in baseball all week. Then we FINALLY are going to the cottage for a week.
It has been 3 years since we have gone there for a week. The last time was when I was pregnant with Dakota. The year she was born we stayed with Mark's parents in Bobcaygeon/Buckhorn, then last year we went to visit my parent's in Georgia and Disney. I am a bit nervous because I like to relax and read while there, but will have to watch Dakota every minute to make sure she doesn't go too near the water. She loves the water and the paddle boat. We went July 1st and stayed in the main family cottage. There is a closed deck that I can read and Dakota play, but this week we are in the small rental cottage. We do have a life jacket for her (Thanks Angela) so she will have that on whenever she is near the water. Dalton will spend hours on the paddle boat.
I haven't done much scrapbooking the past 2 weeks, no energy. Oh well, I hope to bring some card kits with me and make a ton of cards while at the cottage. I am so behind on cards this year. I have a bunch to send to Alberta, any thoughts on what gift card to give a 18 year old going to university for the first time?
I will most likely not post anything again before we go to the cottage. I will try to again after school starts and we get into the routine of things.
