I keep thinking to myself I should just do this once a week and it wouldn't feel like such a big deal. I find myself at work thinking I should post something, than think that it has been so long and so much has happened and I put it off for another day. This happens daily!! I am such a procrastinator, I wonder if I spelled that correctly?
Since Mark's birthday we haven't really done too much. We went to the cottage over the Canada day long weekend. It was a nice time with Don, Lisa, Zoe, Jody and Jayden. I couldn't believe how much time Dalton spent in the paddle boat. He seems so grown up but he isn't even a teenager for another couple of years.
Speaking of Dalton getting older, his birthday isn't until the 26th but we gave him his birthday present early. He rec'd a digital camera and a pair of tickets to see RUSH on the 9th. He went with Mark and had a great time. They took a couple of photos but nothing too impressive. LOL (speaking from my highly amateurish experience).
I went with Fiona on another wedding shoot. This time she let me take some photos with my camera. I liked the detail shots (table settings, cake) but not the ones in the church. I had way too much camera shake. Guess it didn't help that I was leaning way over a railing on the balcony of the church to get the crowd shots. I am looking forward to working with her again. I am disappointed that I will miss the wedding in August that is a evening one, but we will be at the cottage then.
I have been on a new diet..way of life..for several weeks now. I have lost about 6 lbs but my clothes fit way better...pants are a smaller size. I walk Scamp 5 days a week and try to work out downstairs every other day. I eat better, less junk, more salads and protein. I don't find it a hardship or hard to do. I think I can stick with this for a long time..although while typing this tonight I am having a Vodka cooler. LOL
Tomorrow I am going to Scrapbook Central for a crop. I am looking forward to hopefully getting lots done. I send pictures to the store on Thursday night to be printed so they should be there on Saturday. I have several layouts semi planned. I figure I should get about 4 done for the day, maybe more. Depends on who is there, more chatting kills getting anything done. I don't think I know too many people that will be there but that is okay.
On July 7th, Happy Birthday little brother, we got central air installed. It has helped Dakota, because she sweats so much in her sleep. We don't have it set very cool, only about 5-10 degrees cooler than outside. No point in having the thing run 24 hours trying to keep the house ice cold. You know, like the Dave Suzuki one with the penguins. I tried to find a link but no luck.
I will try to post again on Sunday..see if I feel any different on my birthday. LOL Another year another year my kids try to figure out my real age. I am 29 I swear!! (At least most days I still feel like I am in my 20's).
