Swimming Lessons

Ian was able to take swimming lessons this year. They were so kind to have an extra life guard to do a little one on one time with him. Ian did pretty well besides that he bite the life guard two of the days. Lately he will bite someone if he is frustrated. It's been kind of hard, but the life guard was awesome with him. He is actually in our ward and I am so thankful to him for helping Ian. Ian didn't pass his level but was so close. Next year he will pass it with flying colors. I am just glad that he was able to have that opportunity. Ian loves water and has no fear of it. ( Ian is the one in the purple floaty)

Lovell's Day 2015

We didn't do much for Lovell's day, but we did go to the parade, family fun night and the follies. Stan and Jan always go a different night then the rest of us with little kiddos, so they can babysit for us all. The follies were really great this year. It was fun seeing Jill in the bench dancer's performance. Saturday we attended the parade.Chloe loved the family fun night, but Ian was not a fan of it. Too much standing in line and lots of people for him. Matthew ended up taking him home, and Chloe and I finished off our tickets. She wanted to keep doing the fishing one. She did that about 5 or 6 times, and had a blast.  Chloe was in heaven catching candy and seeing all the horses in the parade. Ian loved it when family members would run ice cream bars and otter pops that were being thrown. We sat and chatted with family for a bit after the parade, then headed home. We had Jan, Stan and Stetson & Kandace (who got to spend the weekend with grandma and grandpa) over for lunch. We grilled up some burgers and enjoyed each others company. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing yard work. In the evening we headed down to Jan's to visit with them and her sister Renae who came for the Lovell's day celebration.

Potty training Chloe

Saturday morning I woke up and decided that I was going to start really potty training Chloe. She did great all day Saturday with only a couple accidents. Sunday she wore a pull up most the day because we were at church. She hated going potty on the big toilets. When she got to nursery the bathroom in there has a smaller toilet thank goodness, and she finally went. Monday she did great as well with only one accident all day. Tuesday was awesome. She wore the same pull up all day while we were in Billings. She went potty at every stop we made as well. Then when we got to Grandma Asay's to drop her Costco order off, she had two accidents. AHH! The rest of the week has been awesome though. She wears undies almost all day except for nap and bed time or if we leave the house. For the last two days no accidents. I am extremely excited if you can't tell. We might have a little girl potty trained soon. Crossing my fingers.

Social Camp

Ian was able to attend social camp at the Pediatric Therapy Clinic in Billings ( where he goes for therapy). Ian was put in a group of 10 or more kids with Kati his therapist and his OT Ali. They did all sorts of social games to help all the kids interact with each other. They did a craft each day, played in water, did dance parties, and worked on all sorts of other social skills. It was 4 days long, so him and I headed up early Monday morning. Chloe stayed with Matthew that day. He took her to my mom's for the night. She stayed at my mom's Monday night, and Tuesday night. Wednesday morning my mom had to go back to work, so my Grandma watched her for a few hours. I am so thankful for all the help from them for watching Chloe for the week. Ian and I stayed with my Aunt Mandy and her family. It was so fun to spend time with them. Ian had a great day Monday at camp. He came back soaking wet. At the end of the camp each day the kids were able to play in water tables, and other fun water things. After we ate lunch at the park with friends and ran a few errands we headed to Mandy's. Ian was so excited about their little pool in their back yard. He jumped in with his clothes first thing. I quickly changed him to his swimming suit, and he played in the pool with his cousins. That night we went to Candy Town USA to pick out some fun candy. They had so many different kinds it was hard to choose. Ian was exhausted that night and fell asleep about 7:30 and slept until 7 in the morning. I was so happy he slept so well. The next morning Ian had a other great day at camp. It was so fun that he was doing so well. After camp we headed back to Mandy's to eat lunch. After lunch we went to Oasis a water park in town. Ian was in heaven. He seriously thinks he can swim like the big kids. He was all over the place. We stayed for a couple of hours, and Ian crashed on the way back to Mandy's. After a short nap, Cal was home and grilled us some super yummy steaks for dinner. Wednesday morning we got up and headed to camp once again. I loved it when I dropped Ian off because I was told multiple times that he had been such as rock star so far. It make a mom proud. After camp Wednesday we headed to my grandma's to pick Chloe up. Then the next morning we all go up and headed back up for the last day. Ian had a little bit of a rough time on the last day. He was jumping in the bouncy house and some other kid that was a lot bigger then Ian fell on him. Instead of pushing him off of him he bit him. It's hard for Ian to communicate to people when he doesn't like something. The other kid was fine, and besides that Ian had a wonderful time at camp. We are most definitely going to do it again next year.

Trailing cows to the hills

Yesterday morning Matthew got up and they pushed all the cows out into the BLM. In the afternoon after naps the kids and I walked down in the stroller to help. They were getting the horses all ready to go, and start the trail. Both Chloe and Ian loved being able to ride horses a little bit. Ian could stay on the 4-wheeler all day though. He got to help Grandpa Asay push the cows up riding with him. Chloe loves riding with her dad, and saying "Up cows." Its the cutest thing. The cows were moving pretty slow, and they had to push them back over to the canal once. It went pretty well though. While the kids, Jan and Kasi and I were walking for a ways the boys spotted a horny toad. Landon held it for the longest time, and was pretty mad he had to let it go. After that we headed back to the house for some burgers. Always a good time while working and having fun as a family.
