Nursery...

We finally got our crib all put together this last weekend, and the room pretty much cleaned out. We still have to find a place for our treadmill. I think we will just leave the computer desk up for now, till it gets too crowded in the room. And we have no room for it anywhere else in the apartment. I also still need to decorate a bit. I don't think I will do much right now just because we will be moving for the summer in June, but I have a few ideas rolling around.
Yesterday we went to our childbirth class, and we were able to get a tour of the birth place at the hospital. The rooms are really nice, and every room has a jetted tub in it. Yay! I volunteered to be hooked up to the monitors, so the class could see how they worked. It was fun to hear our baby's heart beat, and the monitor showed me having a braxton hicks contraction as well.  The clock is ticking, and I will be 34 weeks tomorrow. Its crazy how fast time has flown by. We are super excited for our sweet baby boy to get here.

Spring Break...

We really enjoyed our Spring Break at home with family in Wyoming. The weather was nice and sunny. We were able to help Christian, Jill and the boys move while we were home. We are so excited for them. It will be nice to be able to see them every time we go home now. We enjoyed the good weather on the farm. Matthew was able to help his dad lots this past week. He loves being on the farm, and being able to help with the cows. Monday, Daniel and Kasi shared some exciting news with us. They are going to have a baby in September. We are so excited for them. It will be super fun for Ian to have cousins his age.Wednesday evening Kathy (a family friend) threw me a baby shower. Thanks Kathy for all your hard work. It was great to see everyone, and get started on our baby Ian's wardrobe. After the shower we enjoyed some ice cream with our friends Trevor and Andrea. We sure do miss you guys. That night we headed to my parents for a couple of days. Thursday, Matthew went to help his dad out some more. While I enjoyed a great day in Cody with my Mom and little sister Sam. We went for lunch, did some shopping, and ended the day with Sam and Mom getting hair cuts. We spent our last day in Lovell with family and friends. All the grand kids were at Jan's for the day, so that was fun to party with them. That evening we went to our friends Richard and Katie's for dinner. We miss you guys like crazy too. Can't wait for this summer so we can see each other more. Overall we had a pretty amazing break. It sure did fly by fast though.
Today, I went to the doctor for a regular checkup. Everything is going great. My weight seems to be right on track. The doctor even said that the baby is measuring a few days bigger. Sure hope I can fit more baby in there.

Guess Who is 25 Today...........

Today is Matthew's birthday. We are here in Wyoming for Spring break, so he is enjoying the farm for one last day before we have to take off to go back to Washington. Thursday night we celebrated with my family.  My mom made Matthew's favorite dish of hers, Gumbo. We ended the night with a yummy birthday cake. Yesterday night we were back in Lovell with the Asay's. We had a huge celebration for his birthday. Grandma Asay, Grandpa Monk and Donna, and the rest of the Asay crew were all there. Jan made Matthew some of his favorites prime rib, lamb roast, and banana cream pie. I sure am blessed to have Matthew in my life. I sure do love him, and he makes me the happiest girl in the world . I hope he has a wonderful birthday today.

31 Weeks....

I am now 31 weeks along. Only 9 weeks left give or take. Time has flown by so fast, and May is creeping up on us really quick. I have started going to the doctor every two weeks now. My last appointment was on Monday, and everything was great. We also started our childbirth class on Monday evening. There are about 5 other couples in the class with us, and it should be a very helpful class. I think that it will be great to attend for our first baby, just so we don't feel completely lost when it comes to giving birth. I just chopped all my hair off yesterday. I have been wanting to cut it for awhile now. It ended up being shorter then I thought, but I am really liking it. It is so much easier to fix. We are also leaving tomorrow for Spring break for a week. We are going home to Wyoming to see all of our family. Christian, Jill, and the boys are moving back to Lovell, so we are super excited for them. We will be able to be there to help them move in. Daniel and Kasi have the same Spring break as us. It will be one big Asay family reunion besides Jared who is in Africa on a mission. My little sister Sam will also be home for her Spring break as well. I am so excited to see her and spend time with her. A friend from Lovell 4th ward is throwing me a baby shower while we are home. I am really excited for this as well. We hope you all have a great Spring break, and hope for good weather. We can't wait to see all our family!
